Yes Ap is ready for this.

I have ridding a lot of places

not all with the Husaberg
my 450 is the first Husaberg and a very very nice bike.

If i can arrange everything my work, the ship and more we are comming

The bike is no problem 100% ready and reliable

Greets Ap

You will have to wait a bit longer to ride in England. We may get close to the border at times but never actually leave Wales on the rides

It will be good to see you :bounce:

Mapped my rides this morning on the computer.

Saturday is coming out at 65 miles

Sunday 80 miles.

This might not sound much but due to the terrain and the lack of fuel stops it will be.

I interpret it correctly, there are 80 miles between gas stations on Sunday
just so we can prepare ourselves, but how much fuel we need to take with us
when we drive in pure forest ride in Sweden we will about 60-70 miles on a tank
about 4 hour drive with the TE300

Peter

65 and 80 are the total distances for the rides due to where I plan on going there are no villages.

once we leave Rhayader the next town we see will be Rhayader when we get back.

I,Ve also got a te300 and usually get 60-70 as well.

What we will do each day is if you have a couple of litres of fuel in a container once we get into the forest we'll hide it under a tree to use on the way out.

It's really down to how much fun we have as if people link a particular bit of trail we can loop around to do it again or do it in reverse to make it harder or easier. if we do that a couple of times then its likely we'll be needing the extra fuel.

I usually carry a small measuring bottle of oil as well that way I can get fuel off of 4st bikes if needed

Hope the weather picks up.

what will Peter and Anders make of it?

"oh good! we know all about that sh**!"

"we want to escape that! we've had 6-Months of it!"

Hello Taffy
Both of the comments are right
no great idea to take the winter tires off
but we must hope that it happens a lot in a month
right now we have not much snow left but below freezing at night
so it is still hard to the ground

/Peter

Hopefully a customer named Wayne will be coming with his buddy for a few days. :D :D

I have ordered the T-shirts again and "this here year we iz mostly in Grey!"

so we're getting close now!

Ed we may need a second group leader for the Friday and Sunday but definetely need two for the Saturday!

regards

Taffy

Can someone please post up the WGS54 coordinates or, better still, a .gdb file of the Friday rideout RVP?

TIA

My current understanding is that Cypher is leading a group on Saturday and Sunday.
I have a friend who is planning on coming Sat and Sun who would be able to lead should it be necessary.
Friday looks to be just me.
As usual I have no idea how many people will be riding on each day and even if I did it would end up being different on the day.
I have not drawn my routes yet but they will be ready in time. Probably late on the thursday before.

So with 3 days riding and beer on tap in the town all that remains now is for Taffy to sort out the weather.

yep, still on for it.

went to do some recon yesterday but couldnt get there because of the snow that was still about on the hill tops

I can only ride on the Friday and it may be just a day trip for me. But I do need to know where the Friday RVP is......

Gents,

It is with great regret that I'm going to have to pull out of this - Me and the Mrs have just booked a last minute beach holiday (which softens the blow), so i'll not be in the UK.

I'm sure you'll all have a cracking time, gutted to miss it :(

Loads of paddling and swimming opportunities on this one.

Was just wondering what time people were planning on arriving on Thurs?
On Thursday morning I have to shoot down to Southampton docks to collect a pallet of moto-chains (anyone need a nice 520 HD X-ring?) before loading the bike and hauling up to Rhayader. Can't see me getting there much before 7pm. Where are you guys eating/drinking?

I wont be getting there until first think Friday and have never staid at Rhayader so cant recommend anywhere good to eat.
Hopefully one or two more will post up with their plans.

Hope Taffy has sorted the weather. It will make a welcome relief after this long winter.
