hes complaining how hard it is to get numbers and blaming people for not coming

first of all, can admin go into forum layout setting and reduce the size of images members can post, that box of spunk rags has blown the whole screen layout, "making it hard" for any one to post. Big thumbs up to Taffy for having the kindness to try and organise rideouts, :cool: i know what its like, not easy. I know a few routes in Wales Taffy, i live in Ystradgynlais, could local accomadation, and i can get us to the strata florida with minimal road work!;)

Always up for a laugh, and dont take peoples comments to seriously, comms is best done face to face, text isnt a great advocate for body language.

Hope to meet up soon.x

I stayed at the new white swan last easter but for the Taffydakar
I camped while the two dutchmen stayed at the pub instead.
A really brilliant pub and the landlord is a very charismatic man!
a real biker's pub!

I'm now organising the ride away from the site so I have some
rider's interested and if anyone else is interested I suggest we
stick to PM'ing.

I've ridden a few times last year with VDSR and hope to again,
especially in August when they do the run from 4 directions into
Rhayader. met Christian two weeks ago up at Capel Curig for
the annual Dragon Rally - man's a star!

so Bjorn, do get involved but just PM me.

Taffy Daker organiser Jason is a friend of mine, asked me the other day to lead his Sunday ride out for the Taffy Dakar boys. Most forums have gone to just PMing rides, was against it at first, but can see why now...ill be in touch.
 
Garin did tell me that you are either a "new" or an "old" and that there's no inbetween boyo!

i hope you'll consider coming due east to us and can even help/ jason will have a route or 7 about his person. I did a phenominal ride three years ago with Mark2eo off this site around Llangorse Lake which as you know is further north.

I see yet another one of your "fixed" bikes is on ebay for parts not working "got it back and its never started since" with your invoices, not having much luck with these bergs are ya pal ?

or are you on about the guy from Birmingham? his bike ran fine when I gave it back to him but all his wiring was open and he insisted he'd re-wire it.

nothing to do with me. anyone interested in it - it's a bargain. the guy spent £1,000++ on an engine rebuild.

Jeez.... That bike looks like it could be a great deal. I'd be bidding if it was on this side of the pond. Everything is done. Why do people always assume the mechanic ripped someone.... Lots of people walk in and say "I want everything done". What business is going to turn that guy away? These are great deals to find. There is a 90's 350 berg sitting at a shop I frequent. The mechanic did all the work the guy wanted, and there the bike sits....over a year now. At least Taffy got paid for his stuff.
 
yeh he just gave it to me with the wires hanging down to the front axle. I did everything he asked for plus some that couldn't be helped of course but that engine is a minter.

I started it up on the trailer in a built up area of Birmingham one Thursday night last September. but he's no mechanic and certainly NO ELECTRICIAN.

it'll be a great buy for someone.

Why is there a witch hunt of Taffy, im new to the forum, but it seems that there are few that are trying to provoke him? The guy seems to contribute alot to the forum, OK its in his interests, but still, no need for it.
 
Had to put up with the 30 year birthday of Eastenders last week, just to see some sprog hit Lucy Beale over the head with a brick, enough suspense for me for a while..

well Bjorn the reason is that its usually the other way around with significantly more offensive and abusive language in use

there is no doubt that the site member base would currently be significantly larger and collectively more knowledgeable if this were not the case, we have lost many good people over the years including a number of UK engineers and long standing berg dealers.

Taffy has contributed a lot to this site but he is not the sole oracle of all things berg. He has royally p*ssed off a number of useful contributors to the extent that they no longer post and their knowledge is therefore lost to us. In my view what we have lost unfortunately outweighs what taffy contributes. But what do I know, my post count clearly marks me out as lacking in all things berg :wink:

we can go into the history of it but basically Bushmechanic is a site troll and as you can see from this thread, he is out to wreck everything. most people who have differing points of view calm down eventually, move away from one another and step back but as you can see here on this thread - it is his raison d'etre nowadays.

it doesn't help that after a two year ban from here in which he was allowed back despite the old moderators not wanting him: bushmechanic was let back in by the new owner, Zen. He has done nothing about the situation and the site troll continues to wreck every thread.

I've had three years now since the troll has been back of trying to get him off my back but we have no moderators. I've had to resort to some pretty foul language in order to raise some kind of 'fire' here but to no avail. people just stand back and watch.

this particular thread though is different to most, he usually attacks me but this time he's been happy with his felloow trolls to wreck a UHE force ride. that's a group thing. a new first and to me - a new low but as you can tell, it is a 24/7 thing for him.

Obviously some sexualy chemistry between you two, shame your both so far away to alleviate your frustration. For the sake of the forum, try and stay out of each others way, been on to many forums where theyve suffered through bitchiness. One common love, bikes, try and remember that.
 
Taffy's latest post is nonsense. It's kiiiind of fun to see him try to surf his own wave of gibberish.

The word-twisting and brash offensiveness is what got to me. I haven't done business with him, just really dislike him as a person - after some VERY offensive ******** after I had really tried to work with his apalling personality for the sake of the forum.

People who have done business with him can chime in. Some liked it, some really, really didn't.

not trying to wreak anyone's ride either ... just offered a constructive criticism as to why taffy only got 3 riders last time and hes lost the plot
