UK Force ride 2011

UK force ride: Friday April 29th - Monday May 2nd, Llangollen Wales

It's on Taffy's signature.

what is the word on the rides then Eddie? have we any info or is it sorted because you've done it so many times? trust it's the latter? :) :)

regards

Taffy

I had sorted a couple of days riding before Christmas and was going to test them out just to get an idea of how long the routes were likely to take. I didn't want to keep you lads out too late
As i mentioned to you I have ripped muscle in my shoulder so have not been riding since Christmas eve but really hope to be starting again at the end of this month.
A couple of mates have agreed to help out so even if I don't fully recover in time riding will be laid on for two days (Sat and Sun)

Eddie

Sounds good Eddie, hope your shoulder heals up soon.

Is anyone else planning on riding on the friday? Really don't want to miss the opportunity of quiet lanes due to the royal wedding.

Carl

I think it's BECAUSE of the royal wedding that the lanes will be heaving!!!!

I've had several riders show 'some' interest in the supermoto stuff? bugsinmateeth needs a riding buddy so come on lads! :bounce3: :bounce3:

get fit Eddie!

Only 50 days to go until the 'big one'!

Has anyone else booked their camping pitch at the Wern Isaf Farm? www.wernisaf.co.uk

Does anyone coming along have a large BBQ we could use for a feast on the Saturday night?

I've got one and I would hazard a guess that wern isaf have one but I bet it isn't portable and brobably in a right state!

like I say, I can get my hands on one.

regards

Taffy

Nice one Taffy!

Thing is though, how many will we be cooking for? If there only a few people then we might as well have a bag of Ginsters and get over it, if we know there will be a fair few we could get a beast from the farmer and cook it. Anyone have more idea of numbers?

Would the "UK Force Ride" benefit from it's own heading in the forum like the "USA Force ride 4" has or is it all too low key ??

Just thought it may help to raise the profile a little.

Not sure what you mean, if you look the Home page there is the UK Force Ride 2011 right there (as long as we put a post on every few days).

If someone can't work out what that means i think the complexities of riding a bike without stabilisers might be a bit much :)

Not sure what you mean PB - just saying that FR4 has it's own section in the forum listings whilst FRUK is embedded within "Rally Point". Cant use the stabilisers as I'm too busy falling out my pram.

Umm "FRUK"...sure there's a T shirt oppertunity there somewhere Taff.

PS I've got a fairly large BBQ - quite basic & no lid but we use it for the football club camping weekends.

If you guys would like a forum category for your ride, just let me know and I'll set it up for you.

thanks,

well if the aussies and us and maybe others are going to have force rides Json I think you need to redo your catagories and treat us all equally?

upcoming force rides
past force rides

or let us have one next to your FR4?

thanks for the offer.

Taffy

I've created a forum category for the ride and moved this topic into it. If there's any other topics that also need to be moved, just post their links and I'll take care of them as well.

thanks,

Only 38 days to go until the big one, we still don't know how many will be coming?! Is it really going to happen regardless of the numbers or do we need a critical mass? What about if we had a parts swap a 'husajumble' to help motivate people to come along, or a 'set up' session to help people get the most from their 'bergs?

Is everyone going to the Royal wedding instead? I know we have all paid for it, but I don't think we have to attend

It all seems very quiet........

maybe James could PM all those on his list?

how about it James? as Fergus says....very quiet.

Now that idea of getting help setting up suspension certainly pricked my ears up.

I have just bought a 2010 FE390 with 19 hours on the clock.

May be able to come on the Sat and Sunday.

Cheers
Mat
