handlebar mounts

I'm interested too. Where can you find taller mounts/clamps without it being additional parts as the spacers are ?

Have a look in my gallery at the ones I had made. I bought the aluminium for $5 but got slugged $100 for machining which I think was a bit rich. Mine are 55mm rise & bulletproof ( found that out after flipping it at 120kmh doing a standup wheelie ). If you dont know anyone who can machine them on the cheap buy the ones on the site spanner linked, reasonably good value.

Wildman, they look great. You must have long arms though ....

The ones in the link, I just dont know if they will fit my bike.

Looking for bar risers to fit your berg, these will do the trick. These guys make some really nice risers for KTM... they are located in Canada, and at around $90CND, pretty cheap for those of you with US dollars.

Rally Risers are made of 6061-T6 Aluminum alloy with a clear anodized finish. Computer aided design and CNC machining are used to ensure accuracy and lasting durability. Bolting hardware is minimum grade 8.8.

Rally risers are designed to be mounted between your stock bar mount and triple clamp, using the existing hardware. The upper capscrews for re-mounting your bars are also provided. Full detailed instructions will lead you through the installation process. In most cases, it will take about 15 minutes to install. The design also allows you to use the stock control cables. Fitment for all XC, EXC, LC4 640 and LC8 950 KTMs and most Berg's are applicable. There available in both 1.25 inch and 2 inch rise! I've a set on both my KTM's and have a set ordered for my 08 550 Berg.

Wildman, theres gotta be a better way of testing the strenth of your bar risers............. flipping at 120k sounds extreme!

:lol: hahaha Plumbob. I'd post the pics but I'm not sure the brotherhood is ready to see my ar$echeeks yet !! Wasn't intentional I can tell you. Too many rums & not enough riding gear on. Lets just say the tracksuit pants & sleeveless tshirt didn't cut the mustard. :roll: Still, got out of it reasonably well with only bent bars & smashed pride.

After that description Wildman i don't want pics, i want a video on you tube!! "WHEN RUMDABERGS GO'S BAD!!"

By ther sounds of it the Rums may have got you into trouble but probably made the landing a lot less painful too!

Just realised where your from in Aus, i take it you were on the Bundy?
