yeah, a van would be much better than a combo. i also have a european trailer socket...so need to get an adapter to pull a UK trailer. but got ages yet. also need to rebuild my bike and get lights fixed for MOT. all will be well by October.

You're right we are having a big 2 day enduro this weekend which is sounding fantastic. The big Husaberg will be spot on unless it tips it down too much.

I'm currently in the process of turning my Berg into a Rallye bike to do the Baja GB and maybe Alto Turia and Taureg on next year. If anyone wants to see it when finished give me a shout when over. I've got one of the big tanks from BOSS and it looks real good.
Q. Has anyone got one of the underseat tanks and where did you get it from?

Hope you have a great time on the Island, plenty of good riding and good pubs.

ady tells me that DC yes DC would like to come on the trip! i thought it was a wonderful idea and just requested that he should supply a large white van for a scouser and taff as well as parking facilities for a car and trailer! what do reckon boys?

that would bring us up to 9 and 3 x 3 in SWB vans....

we're going to have to buy ady a bunch of flowers for this one!

yes none other. ady has a deposit coming in the post and you and scouser are welcome to leave the car and trailer in his yard. he has a LWB fiat ducato van.

i can't believe how this has taken off. all my years of trying to organise events and few if any ever had people clamouring to go....

That is a result if I can pick cypher up and then go to DCR for the use of that van.

Got the adapter for UK trailer. Is there 2 of you{ making 3 in total on trailer?} if 3 of us I need to cut a slot on my mates trailer to fit the 3 bikes on. Don't want to attack it with an angle grinder if I do not need to!!!
 
scouser there is just you and fraser (cypher).PS it's frasser most times. and alex is a worthy entrant, he's the one we all speak to for spares.

yeah scouser it was me plus 1 when i spoke with him last week. let me get 100% confirmation prior to you chopping the trailer.
we could really do with putting a final list together sa i tried earlier.

Ok.
I've rang my contacts at IOM. 10 is absolute max.
I thought we had 9, but it appears it may be more.
I already have deposits or definate yes's from:-
Taffy, Stu Dixon, Rob Brookster, Steve (Gruntenberg), Steve's brother (don't know his name yet), Scouser, Cypher, Myself and ..... wait for it Alex Wignall from DCR !!
So who is Owen ? Can someone enlighten me !

Travelling Arrangements:
Steve & his brother and Rob Brookster - in 1 van travelling from Hull
Me, Taffy & Stu - in 1 van travelling from Hull
Cypher & Scouser leaving their cars & trailers at DCR then travelling with Alex the rest of the way (from Preston)
Possible ... Owen - whoever he is.... joining Cypher, Scouser & Alex as his van can take 4
BTW all bikes are Bergies !!

think owen came about cos of "Owyen - Orange 400 thingy" which you posted in your first post on the thread then i repeated his name when i was trying to list everyone who was coming.

so ady, if you put together the definitive list and we know where we are then.
 
Just seen the second page ......
At the IOM at the place we stay in Foxdales, the 'leader' is a car mechanic. has a huge workshop, can repair any bike and if worst comes to the worst and a bike dies, he has a spare one, or even 2 if required.
So, only usual trail riding tools required normally.
Glad there's a buzz about this ride now...
and time for the rest of the deposits boys

You are correct, initially Owen did say yes, but pulled out ....my apologies.
So the nine i named and shamed previously are correct.

BTW it sounds like it's an OAP's outing.... 38 seems to be the youngest !!

as ian dury would say: fewkin ada! (or ady in this case!)

that's half of the first force ride and we're not even trying! my first moab trip i think we had 24 bikes and only 11-12 bergs and we will have that this time!

i've no idea where kez and his old man went too, they seem to have left UHE completely.perhaps json can calculate whether he has been a regular visitor/when last here. he never answered any texts, e-mails or PMs here at the site.

For your info we will be there at Foxdales ...Claagmoor on Friday 19th October and will be there for the Saturday and Sunday and will be leaving early on the Monday.
