UK Force ride 2011

There is the outside chance that in the modern sports Ice bath may be too hand.

Here's Andy testing it out

The benefits can last for a while as well

I doubt there will be anything like that on tomorrow's "Green Lane Crew" Mega ride in Hitchen, but I'll take some ads for the force ride anyway - usually a few bergs there.

Re the ice bath above - how do you actually recover from that - proceedure wise to get bike going again ?

The bike did not go under. Andy sacrificed himself rather than dunk his 15 hour 570
Here is the video of him "coming out".

I'd just like to register my support for a May ride. Please put more details when you have them. Many thanks for your efforts.

thanks both of you! would be nice to have some more input such as where you live and which days (from here) look good? remember all 4 days are holiday as I've previously mentioned. you might know - or not - how you intend staying over?

on another note everyone:
as a group we can't organise T-shirts or a social function if we don't know what numbers we have so anyone else looking in needs to let us know if they could sooner than later. I think if we start getting to 20+ we can look at staying on camp in the evening, sticking some of those paddock covers up and a B-B-Q etc?

anyway, we may need some input like this soon?

maybe we need bobzilla to export a chilli - or even bring it with him!!!!! I'm also still handing out info sheets to every customer that purchases from me.

Just wanted to ask, What day's are people riding or how many day's will there be a ride out ?. Just wondered incase some wanted to get there Thursday and maybe ride Friday, Saturday, Sunday returning Home Monday ?.
What is the crack with none Husaberg riders that would like to go , Is it 1 or 2 sponsors ?. :?

i would think there'll be way more want their third day to be the Friday and not the Monday. Monday will be used to get tired limbs home I would think and get everything put away ready for Tuesday and work again.

one Husaberg rider to one non-Husaberg rider is my view. should be easy enough to get someone to sponsor a second rider though. it IS a Husaberg ride that is why its done. I think the Americans did or thought of the same thing.

I personally think it should be riders with Husabergs or ex owners or serious wannabe owners.

I know we want good numbers but need to keep it a mainly Berg ride or we'll lose the common ground between the riders.

I should of put i was replying to this :)

Right'o, I just got a thumbs up from SWMBO to go for the full weekend.
So I'll be traveling up on the Friday (Dave, fancy sharing travel costs?) will ride in the afternoon if anyone else is?
Will stay Friday, Saturday & Sunday night. I'm not fussy about where I stay, camping cheapest/easiest? But i'll go with the consensus.
I'll be riding Saturday and Sunday, I don't know the lanes so will need to be part of a led group please. Are you splitting the groups up?
Not too fussed about riding Monday, depends on my travel arrangements.

Just a quick point for all planning on coming up on the 28/29th, as Friday the 29th is the Royal Wedding (yawn) it is likely to be one of the quietest days ever on the lanes...... (since Di's funeral anyway).

All the flag waving Tramplers and Horsey types will be glued to the TV or having street parties etc. to celebrate.

Definately worth making friday a full day to take advantage of the lack of foot traffic.

When reading this comment , I get the feeling non members or non Husaberg riders are going to get the cold shoulder. (Maybe I'm wrong) I thought it was all about having fun, Yes i can understand you don't want bergs out numbered by ktm's and I'm sure they wont.
If other members are against non Berg riders coming please say now. Because i don't fancy traveling to Llangollen for a wasted trip.
I do apologize if i have missed read this.

I dont think anyone is going to get the cold shoulder Mark, but the idea of the ride is for Husaberg riders from this site to meet up, mostly for the first time, ride together and talk Berg over a few beers.

I dont have a problem riding with KTMs, i normally go laning with a load of quads but i wouldn't bring them up to Wales this weekend.

I don't understand why it would be a wasted trip Mark?

Carl

It would have been a wasted trip if i traveled up there with a mate for him to feel awkward. At the end of the day his the one i go riding with once or twice a month so i would have loaded the van up and come home.
I just thought it was a treat for him not having to lead me out for a change and to ride somewhere different.

I don't think anyone will be made to feel awkward, there's bound to be a bit of banter directed at non berg riders but i dont think they'll be made to sit in the corner with an Orange (colour to suite brand) Dunces hat on!
Although a funny hat forfiet for the funniest off each day might be an idea.

I think Taffy suggested two Husaberg sponsors to every non Berg rider and you can only sponsor one rider. That way there should be at least twice as many Bergs as other makes.
