Can you recommend somewhere in Bathurst to stay (5 in total) for Thursday night. Reasonably priced and safe for a vehicle with a trailer with 5 bikes.

Carl

Not me...... I cant go, so I will be the only honest one out of all of us, I just cant bring myself to say have a good time. I hope it rains (floods in fact) and is really really cold and you forgot all your gear and the pub runs out of beer and you just have a really lousy time..... There I have said it, I am a :( bitter and twisted prick but it just isnt fair is it now ????

The good lady is booked in for an operation on Friday..... my better judgement (and the look she gave me) told me I probably should be there. Actually I want to be there for her, but I will deny I said that.
How is it that I book 1 weekend away and she manages to be booked to have the very first operation of her life the same weekend, how clever is she ??

The Stator out of my bike is somewhere down south getting rewound and wont be back until next week as well......
so it just wasnt going to be my weekend.

So lots of pics, ride reports etc for the deprived please. So envious of you guys , have a great time

Mick

Hey Boys, I can't make it to Louee either this weekend :( but if I could I guess it would be about 3 hours drive (from Syndey). It has really been pissing down rain here over the last week  , but this week is predicted to be fine 8) so you should all have some great conditions to ride in with not too much dust to spoil your fun!

Hope everyone has a good time and makes back home in one piece (both bodies & 'Bergs)!!! :D :)

Sorry to hear you guys can't make it. Keep an eye on this space next week for the reports & photo's.

If anyone has a helmet cam can they bring it please ? I've got one but not sure if it meets the parks safety requirements ( photo posted next week )

I have attached the Parks rules ( I hope) so please all take the time to read them before you get there as they seem quite strict, especially the one about not unloading your bikes until you have signed in.

Cheers,

Wal

Hamberger,
Probably the best place to stay with 5 blokes, bikes and trailer is in a cabin at the caravan park. You can park right beside your cabin and they are a lot cheaper than a motel. It is called East's Bathurst Holiday Park, call them on 02 6331 8286. It is on the Sydney side of town on the highway between Harvey Norman and the Gold paner Motor Inn, between Raglan and Kelso. On the southern side of the Highway.
Give me a call on the mobile number I sent you if you have any problems.
Cheers
Garry
