Hi guys, lots of good info thanks.
Flatchat, Glad you had a great ride, bit scary dodging those fallen trees at times hey. Especially when your lead rider. I have family commitments on those dates that you posted, but shall contact you if things change. Maybe Steve and/or Hamberger would be into one of those rides. We need a report for all to see and comment on.

Hamberger, thanks for the input Carl. Your proposal sounds very good, and I think after your description of the Otways that many would enjoy riding there. Long way for Wal to go, but maybe he can stop over at my place for a days ride at Sunny Corner on the way !!!!!

U2Slow, thanks for the info on the AMTRA ride. Sounds good also. I imagine that there will be interest in that ride as well. Perhaps as a warm up ride before the 2008 Force Ride.

Several options to discus folks. Give us your comments and preferences.
Cheers :D
Garry.

Travelling Husaberg show..

I'll be in for the stopover Cafey. I'd do just about anything to go for a ride around there with someone that knows the country side. Not sure yet whether I'll have the clan with me or not but would definately like to do it.

RE: Travelling Husaberg show..

No worries Wal, any time mate. We shall work on that one then. There are some good options for the Force ride coming in now. Let us know your thoughts on these.
Cheers
Gary.

G'day Gang,

I don't mind where it is, and probably not when. Remember that we can please some of the people some of the time, but not all, all of the time.

I'm also happy to host a ride at home for the travellers, either to or from. I could head south via Bathurst and others could head home via Numeralla for example.

Are we ready to post a couple of polls, one with the where options and the other with the obvious when options, with both having a don't care choice?

Steve

gday guys,

I'm living in adelaide and would be keen for a force ride in 2008. If you guys could let me know where and when I could make the time to get there. Coming from SA it'll be a bit of travelling but I'm keen to ride with fellow berg riders. I'm riding an 2004 FE550 which most days I love but trying to race it in the state enduro series is a killer sometimes. Especially when the tracks are 2nd gear most of the way. They are the days I hate it. Any info on the rides would be great.

Hi All,
I just got back from Mildura after catching up very briefly with Faktor.

after having a look around at what the Murray Sunset country is like at this time of the year - it's awesome looking, moist desert dirt at the moment, and the weather is cool and would be tops for riding!

Anyway, at this late stage, would any of the interested parties consider the wide open desert around the Hattah or Murray Sunset being worth a go in liu of Louee?

just thought I'd throw the idea in the air - it probably means full rego'd bikes though? does Vic have rec. rego??

honestly - there is a sick looking singletrack from Karoonda in SA through to Loxton SA and then its a short hop to Mildura, and I'd reckon you could get a few days out on the desert.

I'm keen either way - My wife will be expecting our second in late Jan / early Feb, and she has still given the okay.

Azza.

P.S. Nice to meet you Faktor, Look forward to blasting the desert with you next time.

I think the time is here for those polls Steve. Perhaps two to start with ? One on location and the other on the date.
Cheers
Garry

No worries Azza give me a call when your ready to go for a burn...
