Hi Guys

Here is the first snippets from the Force ride. There is no bike sound as my mic wasn't working, so make make your own bike noise if it helps.

Tim and I would like to make a DVD of the ride so if anyone has any footage or photos PM me or Tim and we'll work out a way to get it.

More snippets to come but it is very time consuming. Each of these little clips takes about 2 hours to cut and upload.

ENJOY

Mal.

Excellent to hear it was enjoyable riding fella's. We are fortunate to have an abundance of areas on our doorstep. It sound like Tim may have been setting you boys up for a fall!!

The single track is the big attraction here. I often hear of people riding 200km a day. Not in these areas you wont!! And the hills can be a challenge for untalented locals (me!!).

You are luck that the weather was pretty mild. Often those puddles will be iced over - not fun "offing" then. What tyres were you using Azza?

Kepp the feedback coming. Makes good reading for the slackers that couldn't come. Hopefully someone will list a day by day breakdown of the riding. Where did you take them "Timmy"?

"day by day breakdown of the riding"..... I'm sure it was you Mr Ozberg who told us not to take a GPS and tell everybody about it, so not a day by day thing but this the best I will put up.....
Day 1 - Rode singles to the west of base
Day 2 - Rode singles to the north of base in the morning and to the south in the arvo.
Day 3 - rode fire trails to the north/west

What the snippets Tim and upload and have a guess

Keep the whip on that Timmy bloke at work Ozberg.

Cheers
Mal.

Ozberg, I was running the only tyres I could get from my local shop before I left, I think they wer dunlop 603 or 606's heap of crap dual sporters. Lucky that good bloke Wal was packin' some MX retreads, so he fitted one of those on day 1 which was great, but prolly excentuated the shiteness of the front, then Timmy came to the rescue with a slightly worn MC5, which is worlda apart better than the 'dunnys' I had on.... now to take them back and see fi I can get a refund or changeover for something with knobs.

Azza.

Hi Gang,

I had a great weekend too pity the knee didn't allow me to ride this time! Bugger! Next year it should be bionic so all will be good.

There are 3 shirts left out of 34 printed if anyone is interested:
1 x 5xl polo
1 x 2xl tee
1 x xl tee

pic here http://www.husaberg.org/index.php?set_a ... _photo.php
Graphics are identical front and rear on tees and polos.

Price is a donation to UHE
First come first served and offshore is OK. PM me with a postal address and it'll be on the way next week.

Cheers
Steve

Hey Azza,

just noticed your new signature, thats great man. Dont be too hard on yourself. We saw your helmet cam footage on the end of that tape you gave me & realised just how flat Kangaroo Island is 8O You know what your in for next year at least so start working on the weekend pass for next easter. Even better, make it a family holiday & come to the A4DE in Orange after the ride. Mad if you dont.

Yeah, rthanks wal, I'm still dealing with the grief, one day at a time man... (strained muscles in groin is still causing grief).

cheers for that tyre mate, Im talking them up to the local tyre place, but they arent all that worried about what they stock.

what about 'Force ride 2009 or 2010 Skippy Rock?? (Kangaroo Island) Kyma and I can sort at least 3 days fully different trails, excellent scenery, and for those who want to make it a once off, there is some pretty impressive sightseeing, local produce, food wine, spirits, world class national parke and so on.

its not all flat over here, but its not mountain goat stuff like 'Wang.

Take it easy man, Azza.

G'Day Azza
Good to see your on the mend. I'm going out to do all that Saturday stuff again in couple of weeks with Jim on the XR600. We'll be thinking of ya mate. Lucky we didn't take you on this track.

I know I don't have a berg but if you guys organize the Force at 'Skippy Rock' count me in and probably Donna. She is learning to ride now. You guys must of had some influence on her. 'Local food, wine and spirits!!! The bikes will stay on the ute for the weekend. Tell me there is great coffee shop and we'll move there.

Wal. Did Cafey get onto you about getting hold of your video footage and pics so we can make a DVD of the weekend?

I'm home alone this week so i'll upload some more of Tims and my footage.

If the bother hood wants to have the Force ride at Wang again I would happy to be part of it. On the Black Berg of course.

Cheers
Mal.
