husaberg 70 degree owner vids fe390 fe450 fe570

three day adventure ride on the FE570, covering about 700 miles of track and dirt roads. been messing around with the gearing and thought 15/46 would be too high but found it perfect for adventure riding.... into fifth gear at 50 mph then six gear at 60 mph so the top two cogs can share the wear on faster sections. still pretty good in the gnarly stuff in first gear with the rekluse clutch too.

what nice spot to ride mate. I remember the Grampians and I'm sure there'd be lots of big hills. Whats the camera you're using? Looks like its got an auto tracking/zoom function.

It was taken on a set of liquid image goggles, I dropped the quality a bit to upload.

Speaking of the factory video for the release of the 2013 range, and I'm sure this may have been made a point of already....how many picked up on the footage at around the point at around 4mins and 16 seconds where the bike started to billow out more steam than an old school locomotvie....and they still chose to put it in the official video

Thats the way it looks when you drive through wet moss (white cushion moss?). Its flung up on the hot engine and all the water evaporate.
 
Ahhh, and now it makes sense....I don't get much (any) moss in my part of the world Jon....but I'm now enlightened, thought it for sure was an over heating bike

one of the girls rides an FE450 and is training for the finke desert race. she's only been dirt riding a bit over a year but improves every single ride, i doubt i'll be able to keep up on the FE570 to film her in another six months. :D

got the 570 out of adventure mode and back to just being a dirt bike. kept the cush drive hub on though as it seems to help with traction in the slop. love the grunt, it's surprising how little the 570 is revving compared to the kato 450 it is following.

The annual Säkylä enduro was ridden yesterday in a hot weather with some 300+ bikes. The track was on a military base, this was the 6th time the race was organized and my 5th time there. Idea is to ride as many laps as possible within three hour time. Me and my buddies filmed some footage, this suit well for this forum since it's three Husabergs. Two FE390s and one FE450 riding in a pack during the first (warm-up) lap.

nice vid, karl. the chest mount shot is always makes for good footage. out with a friend on his DRZ on the weekend and shot some footage but the yellow bike was struggling compared to the FE570...
