husaberg fs 570 "project"

the schock has been serviced only once previous winter (new gas/oil) and added a slightly lighter rear spring the front is completely stock only some change of settings/serviced .
Getting the suspension sorted by a specialist was also on my "to do" list but after I pay for second set of wheels I whent over my budget 3 times already so that will have to wait:p
I am sure the new metzeler slicks I have bought will already make a big improvement on handling/grip compared to the bridgestones I got realy cheap but had very little grip/confidence with them.

You sound as sick as Me. Good for You. if it makes You happy and it doesn't hurt anyone then keep doing it. I'm working on getting my 5th Husaberg? It fell through not happening maybe next time.

Can't have too many. And I also go crazy sometimes and buy without thought of the future (I have not regretted any purchase).
You make me look sane with only two 570 -12s...

Its my third husaberg owned 2 fs 650 but if I could have afford it I would still have a 650 to!
Most people probably don't understand how someone can spend so much money on a bike but than again buying a new bike every 2 years is expensive to and I like this one so I will keep it forever . (To be honest I don't tell people how much I spend on this thing because even I feel embarassed about it lol:p )
The 650 is on of few bikes I actualy regret selling (sold loads of previously owned bikes) had a 2 stroke racer in between but than returned to husaberg with the 570.

My top 5 bikes I owned are:
Husaberg 650
Husaberg 570
Zx10r 2004 (its now for sale the guy I sold it to just put it online 1 month ago )
Gsxr-1000 k5 (still own it)
Triumph street triple 675 2008

But the 570 I owned for longest and spend most money on (by far :p )

Its Just random top 5 but for me hard to choose between k5 and zx10 both are superbikes from same period of time both are very different from one another...
I would say both bikes bone stock k5 is "best " bike but they both have ****** front brakes compared to new bikes and the gixxer to soft front suspension for the track.
But on both bikes I modified brakes and suspension and gearing and those old 1000 are awesome!
I did testdrive on newest sportbikes but they miss character imo they are better in a way but the old ones are Just so raw and fun to ride.
The way that k5 pulls from down low so powerfull and no electronics and how rough it idles.
And that zx10r feels so nimble and wild Just the powerband combined with compact bike and short wheelbase without any pussy electronics stuff real adrenaline bikes!
K5 is more stable but feels bigger zx10r twitchy scary bike but in a good way loved that thing considering buying it again lol but no room and money enough sadly

My bike will be ready in may have to wait for the wheel to get back...
In meantime I am exploring about changing the front triple clamps to get a smaller offset but x trig and other do not supply them for the husaberg so trying to find out what ktm's have the same triple clamps:)
I contacted FAOR because I realy like there system on how to adjust the angle and it is more special suits the berg (everyone has the x trig clamps right:p )
They send me this: (attachment).
I will try to figure this out but have limited time so any help/measurements are welcome.
Now will try to see if the part numbers from triple clamps match ktm 530 maybe :)

Already compared part number between 2011 FE 570 and 2011 fs 570
The fe has different top and lower clamps 22mm and no adjustability?
The fs 14-16mm and there is a part number for the steering stem you can buy seperately for fs, not an option on the fe to buy this or part number?

hey husabelg,
you'd tell me where you got the bike tuned? in be? I am looking for someone to check my AFR properly..
I am also looking for a dealer with the diagnostic tool, my FI warning lamp lights up every time I open the throttle wide (when engine is warm only) but impossible for me to diagnose anything: lamp isn't flashing as described in manual, just lighting up till I stop revving.. :s..any advise/place were to get the bike checked?
Thx, Nico

Miss riding my 570 had a blast riding my 11y/o gixxer to last weekend on croix en ternois.
I do have to work on my fitness I get tyred to fast and don't even try to brake late because I don't have the strength:p
Lucky the bike is powerful so make up time in the straights/fire out of corners:cool:

My wheel is still not back almost 12 weeks now getting sick of it...
Monday did another Trackday with the gixxer and had a big highside at 80-90.
Bike flipped both sides damaged fairing bracket cracked and some other small stuff.
Helmet I only bought this winter used maybe 3 times is damaged suit did the job two big bruises and a swolen knee lucky...
I have the crash on video will upload later

My ego hurts the most was realy a stupid crash the surface was a litlle slippery on that part of the track because of few spots of rain on tyre marks left from cars and it whent realy sideways realy fast.
At this moment a friend is already repairing my fairings ordered new set of crash sliders and will dril a new hole to attach the top fairing to the bracket on the left (snappped of because I hit it with my arm coming of the bike).
The small marks on the exhaust/linkpipe will stay as a souvenir:p
Also snapped of gear lever and one footpeg died during the crash nothing to dramatic according to the speed/flip the bike did the tailsection( fairings) took most of the impact subframe is still straiight:)

Excuse me my french is very limited.
I understand you had the same thing happening on mettet on panigale and something about tyres I dont understand.
I know I wouldnt like to crash a panigale :p
Yes the wheel will be back with a new hub...
I will have to send the front wheel to later because air is leaking from the spokes I lose 0.2bar each day  maybe that is normal After 3-4 years...

hehe :),
you got the carbon rim laced to the OEM hub in the end? or have you kept the alpina's one?

Oem hub was impossible mistake by alpina.
According tracking I have the wheel back tomorrow with new kite hub.
