My old zx10r is coming up for sale for a real good price I am very tempted of buying it and selling the husaberg because honestly I am getting sick of it a shame I just ordered/payed new wheelset just days before the bike turned to crap:rolleyes:
will fix the head before selling ofcourse I guess this will be expensive:mad:

It's a 2004 AKA "the widow maker" I loved that twitchy agressive bike newer zx10 are lame I agree ;)
I can get the bike for nice price only needs new battery some small attention just got the 24k service I know its cheap/fast/reliable and a good road bike (wil keep the k5 for track).
He is selling the bike because he prefers v twin aprilia rsv wich he used to own a couple of years ago so now he bought another one and the zx10 is just sitting there:)
I am just tyred of throwing money into the berg it's just neverending lately I want more riding less working on broken bike:rolleyes:

Yeah you been unlucky. But I think you should put it in a corner for now until one sunny day in the future when you miss it and fixing it will be fun.

I'm in a similar situation right now. My friends are constantly on me to fix my 570 enduro, but I don't want to do it because I have to fix a friends 570 that are in pieces and is getting more and more expensive for me to fix (quite a lot of that money is due to tools I need anyway for my bikes). And to fix it cheaper now I'm slaughtering my 570 motard, which I must fix one sunny day in the future... So all I have is work work work, and things take time because I have tools that I must have made and bought, I also must visit "Husaberg-Gert" so he can help and learn me how to fix, balance and install a crank. At the end I will, hopefully, have a happy friend (I'm doing it for free as a 50th birthday present). I will also have a slaughtered 570 motard too expensive to fix for some time.
But I will never sell it. I will just put it in a corner for the future.

My hope is that one day I will manage to do something fun and big bore out of it. I will see what's possible in Sweden as thumperracing means sending stuff to US. So that bike will be a project that will take what time it takes.

So I suggest you do the same. Maybe we can find some fun solutions for the future?
Maybe instead of selling it you should find another 570 for a good price? ;) Then you can do like me, drive one and keep one to ponder about.

So in short. Dont sell, buy more!! :D

Wel I have another friend who just bought a 2009 fe 570 converted to sm with very low miles good condition few months ago but last week he bought himself a 2009 r1 and he has to sell the berg from his misses...
The motor only has 3700km and it has some nice parts like full beringer brake setup.
But I don't like the bike because suspension/triple is still enduro.
I did a testdrive and hated the bike sooooo soft front end and the brake is so agressive bad combo.
It would cost me a lot to make it as good like my 570 (or just swap over half parts of it).
I could get it for less than 4000 I gues but I dont want to spend that amount of money because I hate husaberg for the moment:p
Also do'nt have space for 4 bikes (already made my mind I will get the zx10 ).
I recently started renting a storage place because I didn't have room for my 2 bikes it will already be very tight with 3 bikes (it's only 2x3m)

Naah, give it a rest and youll come to senses
Avoid being in an emotional state making decisions :)

Look at me I have a 570 looking like

The berg is not for sale (yet) so have some time to think about it.
Also not in a hurry fixing the bike will pay for the zx10 first for the moment lost interest in the husaberg
I already whent to look at the bike yesterday and payed desposit could not resist for the price knowing how great that bike is/was.
Payed about 2500€ less than I sold it for years ago and it only has about 3000 extra km's on the clock and just had its 24k (expensive service at a dealer) so it's a steal I don't care its 12 years old it kicks new bikes ass :p

Hi anyone knows if the headlight mask of a 2003-2007 ktm exc fits the stock hsb headlight the headlight looks the same on pictures?
I want to know this because this will be cheapest way to get the bike back streetlegal I can't find my fender brace no more the oem light bolts on to and It's pretty expensive:unsure:

Not exactly sure but the bits from the 2012-2015ktm fits my bike regarding the light.

Thx I searched google some more and it seems the headlight is identical for the husaberg 2009-2012 exc 04-07 so I will order just a black mask from 07 exc:)

I didnt' buy it I ordered a different mask/headlight china copy because my headlight was modded to work with HID and needed different wiring but I threw the HID kit away by accident:rolleyes:
Next week I should have the light/mask and I have 2 interested buyers for the bike now and it's not even for sale/online yet:p
I do want to sell it though...

I don't want to sell my bike making an ad on the internet to many people wasting my time working on my nerves...
Are there any on here that may have serious interest in buying it the bike is back to streetlegal and runs great with new stock piston again now.
Im not asking a crazy price asking €5000 complete bike with al the extra's and all the parts I have (there are a lot in it worth over 5000 new! )
I bought my 1st house recently and I am very busy with work/other **** right now.
So not much time for the 570 anyway main focus will be riding track on gixxer this year booked 9 days in januari so...:p

If anyone cares my 570 is gone for a couple of months now and the new owner already put it up for sale:unsure:
I just don't have the time now and didn' ride it since september also lost interest in the bike a bit that's why I wanted it gone ;)
Had it for over 6 years wich was a record for me in keeping the same bike ;)
I stil have 2 other bikes the one I bought in januari (old zx10) I didn't even start yet so yeah not to much time:rolleyes:
The trackbike gsx-r 1000 gets out once every couple of weeks when I take some days of work.
Next to work I'm also quite busy moving into "new" house so I think the zx10r will also have to wait till 2018:eek:

do you happen to remember who made those awesome black and blue graphics that were on your bike? I just bought a 2011 FE 570 and would like to make it look like yours
