OK Dale, that is all great!
Further to my previous email in which you graciously never bothered to reply to. I paid the full amount of $450.00 for a fuel tank, at the official 70 degree website. My payment was made well before you later announced that you would fill all existing warranty orders and the orders that had been paid for previously by customers. I thought that I would have been one of them!?! You indicated that you would have enough tanks to fill that quota. I DID NOT RECEIVE ONE!! Now, I do not want to come across as aggressive or ungrateful, as I know you have encountered many problems with the manufacturing of the tanks (with several different moulders), but I do expect at the very least that you would have responded to my previous inquiry. THIS NEVER HAPPENED!
NOW, could you please tell me when my order, which was fully paid many months ago, will be ready? I would expect that I will receive one of the first tanks. This is before you consign them to the dealers!

I ran my first long 200 mile ride with a couple of Beta's, Sherco's and KTM 690's. Always wen my tank was half empty, we needed to go for a gasstop :cheers: It is so nice to have some slack.
 
Dale told me they would be getting them in 4 -6 weeks, that was on 4/5/13. I just put my order in today so if he has spare stock from the back orders Im guessing about a 4 week delivery.

So sick of carrying spare fuel for "just in case" but one very close call to being stuck in the middle of no where says this will be money well spent. :bounce:
 
The first deliveries to dealers was about 1 month ago. I got my tank sent to me from Cyclebuy about 3 weeks ago.

WTF? I inquired with Dale about the progress of my fuel tank delivery, especially considering that my order was placed and fully paid for before the announcement of the deliveries of the previous batch from the previous moulder.

My response from Dale was that "I would receive the first tank that he gets in his hand". I think I have been pretty patient but I am yet to receive my tank or any explanation as to why I am still waiting???

Dale, further to my previous request, dated 13 March 2013, I am once again inquiring on the status of my fuel tank delivery? Fair go! A joke is a joke but I think this is gong a little far! Can you please supply me with a tank?

The tanks appear to be getting delivered and I ordered and paid for mine before all others.

FWIW I also contacted Dale about my order earlier in the month, he is on holiday until the end of this month and will be in contact when he gets back, presumably tomorrow. I think we are all in the same boat, fair enough if you ordered just before they stopped the manufacturing last year and are waiting. I would be pretty much fuming as well. I hope I get mine in time to install before Watagans rally but I'm not holding out much luck of that happening.
 
Oke, then I will wait till Dale is back from Holiday !
Expectation was delivering end of June, and that it is :D

The site remains te same, no updates since April, but saw a dealer here on the board selling, so i was curious about the status in general.
So will keep waiting :bounce: , and waiting takes a long time :D
 
To clarify a fact in response to irally, I ordered my tank and paid for it in full, before it was announced that the previous manufacturer was going to do a production run. This is the production run that ended prematurely.
