Thanks for updating !!

Ofcourse everybody wants his tank urgently, me for example was expecting the tank end of June beiing shipped, calculated an extra month, so hoped for shipped end Juli.
I am goiing for a trip for a week in the begin of September, so really hope the tank will arrive in time

You are always welcome to borrow a little bit of gas from me

Thx for the offer Noppy

But still hoping mine will leave the 19 th, and have it just in time !!

Hi Guy!

My zab dealer just inform me than Husaberg doesn´t sale the sub frame tank anymore because of it´s reliability problem´s.
In another hand it seem the production have been restarted According 70º Co itself...
Someone here can update the drama about that???
Delivery delay and of course if reliability issue has been definitely solved? (i´m, from Europe, not easy to deal with american stuff with things goes wrong, and i tend to be naturally cautious with leaking gasoline on hot engine when
i´m seating above)...

Thanks guys

YAY! finally got my tank (and other bits) today, after carrying fuel on a big ride just last weekend I was about to send off an email when Knock Knock on the door from Mr Courier with a big box from the US. Looking forward to fitting and testing it out.

Quality looks pretty good and well packaged thanks Dale, you must have more patience than a saint to deal with everybody sending emails. :holy:

If anybody that is still waiting wants to check out the product here in Sydney drop me a PM.

Dale, where is my tank? My order was placed and paid for in full before the previous batch of the revised tanks were announced ready for delivery. I missed out on the previous batch of tanks. I have spoken to you twice previously about this very issue.

People who read this may think that I am very direct but I am very annoyed. Having communicated with you directly about this issue just adds to my frustration. Dale, you have twice told me that my order would be tended to immediately but I am still waiting.

I read about others in this forum receiving their tanks and it just rubs salt into the wound. Dale, can you please send me my tank!

(Please note that this post has been edited to omit the aggressive content.)

DUUUUDE chill out Dale is a nice guy.. yea everyone gets pissed about things but stop slamming Dale alot of this isnt his fault and he is frikin busy chill out enjoy your bike go for a ride send Dale a pleasent email stop cursing be nice. I was pissed that my 1st gen tank leaked, but Dale was right there immediately to back his frikin work and I wassnt out on my own like alot of others would have just let me down. Just to develop any product like this is riddiculously time consuming and I guess no good deed goes unpunished ay?

I been following this thread from the beginning and I understand Aussie Dave.
All respect to Dale for all his efforts on the tank. It's a good and needed product, and I'm sure it's been a hard and long way for him. So all respect to him.
Still, if I had been in Aussie Daves situation I would be pissed off too. No doubt.

A message to everyone participating in this forum,

A few days ago, I posted a scathing attack about Dale and the very late delivery of the fuel tank that I had ordered and paid for a long time ago. Little did I know that at the time of writing my aggressive post, that the very tank that I was complaining about was on rout to being delivered. It was literally two days after I posted my scathing attack on the tardy delivery of the tank that I received a postal notification that i had an international item waiting for me.

The fuel tank that I was desperately waiting for has arrived. Admittedly it was an extremely long time coming but it has arrived. As a way of making up for the late delivery, Dale paid for the delivery of the tank which was not cheap. This was a very nice gesture from Dale and I would like to thank him for it.

For those who have been following the chain of posts from the beginning, I am posting this to let everyone know that Dale did follow through with his delivery and that he did his best to make good. Although I am yet to install the tank, I would like to thank Dale and hopefully those who have read my previous posts don't think that I am a compulsive ungrateful winger venting my frustrations at the innocent online.

I have to say - Yours was now a most honorable post, sir.

(Incidentally, you didn't come across as unreasonable at all. We must be allowed to get angry sometimes - and I can understand you did, looking at things from your end. Anger is only natural - To bring honor after it .. is where integrity and character are truly shown.)

I am very glad to read that this was all resolved and you got your tank. A good thing for a good bike.

Hi Anthon Berg,

Thanks for your email. I noted that you said that my previous email was not that nasty. I urge you to have a look at the bottom of my complaint email and you will notice that I stated that the email was re edited to omit the aggressive parts.

The parts of the email that I cut out and edited were aggressive by my standards and they did include words commonly referred to as swearing. The email was aggressive and when I wrote it I was very angry. But I do consider myself a very fair person which was the reason behind the final email explaining things. In hind sight, even though Dale may forget to do some things, I believe that his intentions are genuine, he is busy and he may be doing his best.

Non the less, thank you for your comments.

I just purchased a FE570 and am picking it up this friday. I can't wait! :bounce3:

I decided to purchase one of these tanks from 70 Degree Racing and I also picked up a Seat Concepts seat.

I plan on doing some long distance adventure riding with it.

hi racing.. just to let you know, guts tall medium foam seats are more comfortable than seat concepts (I have both) just fyi

So i waited and waited until i heard guys were actually receiving their tanks before i ordered one. Then i ordered one and waited some more. I was getting a little worried when Dale told told me that he wasn't aware of my order but after a couple of emails back and forth and some info swapping my order was located. As soon as Dale had found my order details he posted my tank and emailed me to let me know it was on its way.
I just want to let guys on here know that when Dale has tanks to send, he sends them! As long as he knows about your order that is!
Im now eagerly awaiting the arrival of my tank and looking forward to planning some rides without the hassle of the limited distance or the fuel drop!

So my new tank arrived, woohoo!
True to his word, Dale delivered. Just wondering what colour tank everybody else has out there? Mine has arrived in a "natural whitish" plastic colour. Pretty sure that on the website they are grey. It's my opinion that grey would be the obvious choice given the colour scheme of our bikes and that it would be a " no brainer" as to what colour would be suitable!
On a better note, the tank looks solid in construction and i'm keen to fit it up and enjoy the extra range it will give me!
Still awaiting a response about the colour option, or lack of option as it seems.

Just for those looking to order a tank, it only comes in natural plastic white. Dont rely on any pics on the 70deg site as those pics are outdated and grey is not available. I would have been happy with this if it was made clear to me before i paid for it but i did think i was going to receive a grey tank. The tank does seem to be good quality and i will update on this once i have fitted it to my bike. Apparently if i was concerned about the colour i could have passed it onto another customer down here on behalf of the manufacturer. Not bad eh?

Dale mentioned earlier in the thread that the color is now more natural and the translucent allows you to see how much gas is left. This has proved to be very handy to me.

FYI, I fueled up with 2.5gal and 117mi yesterday. The fuel light had just turned on.

I have to say, all in all I have had a bad experience with Dale. way back I mentioned on the forum I was angry about spending 500 bucks and had a leaky tank.. he said he would replace it.. then he changed his mind and said he would replace it for 250 dollars.. then.. when I finally took him up on it.. he just ignored me completely.. wtf? So I will express THIS WAS THE WORST 500 DOLLARS IVE EVER SPENT.. THANKS DALE

The reason you did not get a "FREE" tank is because you disclosed to me that you crashed on it, and it started leaking from the point at which you landed on it, and thus caused the leak. So that is why I "changed my mind". The warranty does not cover you crashing, the warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship.

I offered you to sell you a replacement tank at a VERY reasonable price.

Then you said you lost all of the mounting hardware and needed the whole kit.

Then you said you just needed the tank and not the whole kit as you had originally asked for.

I asked you to contact me through the [email protected] and we could arrange payment and shipment.

You did not.

I never received the payment we agreed on.

So, that is why you never got a tank kit, a tank etc....
