This has been a very sad story. I feel really bad for Dale. I know most guys would have just pulled the plug and walked away by now. I applaud him on his dedication.

Hi Scot,

Thanks for the kudo's much appreciated.........

When the last molder pulled out it really gutted me for sure as we had just got things rolling. I am going to give the new guy a call early next week and see how he is making out.

Fingers crossed!

I didn't get 150 Desert Racing finisher pins by quitting :bounce3:

Okay,

So here is the original way the tail end of the sub frame looked

IMG_0722.JPG

This is how it looks now after the design change was made to get ride of pin holes in the molding. Notice the two adapter bushings, EJOT screw and flat washer.

IMG_0733.JPG

Once you have everything all mounted up, put the two bushings in the holes from the bottom. These bushings will give the rear fender pegs something to seat against now that the step has been removed.

If you are running a tail light assembly, put it on over the bushings and then install the EJOT screw with the washer on the OUTSIDE. If you are running an FX with no tail light holder, then install as shown in the picture.

If you have any questions, please shoot me an email or pm.

Thanks again for sticking this out!

All,

I sent out emails to the email addresses I had on file for the pre paids and the warranty's that 70 degree racing was obliged to from the 70 Degree Racing email.

I used the email address that were included in your order via paypal.

I'm glad I did that to check addresses since a few had moved.

I still have not heard back from:

Tommy in Canada-need to confirm your address
Tom in Canada-need to confirm your address
Steve in San Carlos CA-need to confirm your address
Marc in San Diego-need to confirm your address
Andrew in San Diego-need to confirm your address

I won't ship a tank to you unless you email me back and confirm your address. So if you see this, and think you are one of the guys on the list above pm me here or email me.

If you have sold your bike and no longer need one let me know and I'll refund your money.

As I am shipping the tanks I am sending tracking info for your convenience.

Thanks,

Dale

Regarding folks who have purchased their tanks through a Dealer.

The tanks that are being shipped now are not the tanks that you ordered through your local dealer. Rather, the tanks that are being shipped now are the ones purchased directly from 70 Degree Racing.

Several dealers have asked that I make this clarification.

Santa finally came... some gave up. I held on...

I still want one, Dale. Emailed back & forth a year ago with someone at 70 Degree Racing, that said they put me n the infamous Waiting List: [email protected]

Please let me know if there's still hope....

Beautiful looking piece!

Scott

Thanks,

I plan on shipping all of the international orders this Saturday as I have to go to the USPS office to do so.

I'm pretty sure everyone outside the US has emailed me back confirming their address. Man, I'm glad I checked that! There were several people who had moved!

Hi Scott,

I'm afraid the only lists I have are the warranty replacements, and sales directly from 70 Degree Racing.

I'll keep you all posted on the progress with the most recent molder.

Dale

Got mine too. I'm glad Dale stuck with this project, it really is a nice piece of engineering. I almost gave up a few times and asked for a refund - now I'm happy I didn't.

I'm going to ceramic coat my mid pipe while my bike is torn apart, I figured I would once and for all fix all the bugs on this bike.

Three gallons of non-boiling fuel will make this spring in the desert so much more enjoyable.

How soon to you start shipping to resellers? I ordered one from a vendor a bit ago.

The mold is now at a new molder, and they are supposed to start trial runs this week........

So I don't have any time frame as of yet.

Oh. I guess I'm confused then since it seemed like you were already shipping them after the molder change.

Do you have any in stock currently? Perhaps I could cancel my order and place it with you directly.
