Thanks Dale I will be on the look out, I really want one of these tanks for the riding I do & they sound just the thing I need.

Just got word from my local dealer in Australia that your tanks are on its way. Hope to get my hands on it early next year.

Who is the Australian distributor or did you go through your local berg dealer

Dale,
Just check into the forum for the fist time in a while, sort of forgot about the tank.
When will you be dispatching mine to Western Australia? Mike.

Better Yet. Hows my refund coming. I left emails over at the 70 degree racing website but have not heard back from you. Whats up??

Frank

Why would you prefer a refund over the tank itself? I hope you didn't sell your bike?

If you'd put it up for sale you could make a profit :D

HA!! I could sell subframe tanks on the side :)
I still have my bike but Dale offered a refund to anyone who wanted it. I asked for a refund.
What I would prefer is a reply. They took my money, at least they can do is reply.

Hi Frank,

First of all, sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I was out of town for a few days.

I just went through my emails on the 70 degree site and the last one I have from you is dated October 22cnd at 0651hrs checking on the status of your order, and there was no refund request in that email.

Please send me a pm with your paypal address so that I may process your refund straight away.

Dale

UPDATE: 12-23-12
I was recently contacted by our current molder after I had emailed inquiring as to when I could pick up the next batch of tanks, and this was the reply I got:

Dale, we have just renewed our product liability insurance and have been notified that we are not covered for products of fuel tanks. Therefore as much as I hate to tell you at this time we can no longer mold your tanks, which is disappointing to us also since Rick has done so much work on your product. Thank You and let me know when you want to schedule to pick up everything or If I can help with anything.

Needless to say this email left me a bit gutted, finally had got them into production and now I feel as though I just got the rug pulled out from under me.

I have already contacted another local molder that makes many of the aftermarket gas tanks for dirt bikes. I will keep you all posted as soon as I hear something.

The Good News:

The small batch of tanks that I did pick up should be enough for the long waiting pre paid customers, and the warranty tanks.

I will keep you posted as soon as I have some news. I am not giving up.

Now that the new molding methodology was proven feasible, are you allowed to take the molds with you to any new manufacturer? Perhaps you could even make the price more attractive?
