    Headlight Switch

I took the my 6 week old 2010 FE450 out this weekend and ran into a problem with the headlight switch. Basically, it broke. The three-way switch wouldn't move and, when forced, something (maybe a spring) shot out and hit me in the chest. Now the switch just flops around and doesn't engage in any...

    Tripmaster Switch?

Hi Guys, I was wondering if anyone had tried the Husaberg tripmaster switch Part # 548.14.073.000 on their 2009-2011 FE. I got one the other day, and while it seems simple enough to plug in electrically, I cannot figure out where I'm supposed to mount the damn thing! I might just return it...

Hi All, To enable the 3 different mapping options on a 390 Berg is it just a matter of fitting one of the mapping switches ?

    Headlight multi switch

Hi, I recently got a 2003 fe400e dualsport. The headlight only works on the high beam. I checked the wiring and it appears to have a broken wire between the switch and the junction connector on the steering head. Of course the connection at the switch is buried under the other wires there so it...

Changing map settings without the switch

I crushed my map switch ( dont ask how) and would like to set the bike to the agressive setting and leave it there. I was told I could add a resistor to the plug and achieve this BUT I read in the MXA test of the FX-450 that the different settings can be accessed by removing the wire or wires...

    Mapping switch

Bought the Husaberg mapping switch. Is this just a 'plug and play' switch to access the 3 settings or does the dealer have to 'flash' the 3 settings into the EFI before installing the switch. Not sure what my dealer has done and I'm getting little support from them.

How do you switch out the frt springs?

Hey Guys, Just bought a very nice used 10' 390 and I'm new to this forum. The original owner put softer front and rear springs on it and gave me the OEM's which I want to switch out. The rear seems easy but what about the front? What's the process/steps and do I need any special tools...

    Map Switch Settings

I'm a new owner of a 2009 FE450 as of last week. I just finished up break-in and I love this bike. This is a new bike for me, though, so I'm still getting to know it. The dealer installed the EFI map switch and loaded the latest maps before I picked it up. Can anyone tell me which map switch...

    Relocate Kill Switch

Not sure if anyone has posted this over here...I had posted this on another forum and received a good response. I think AUS models get a different switch but here in the states our multi switch comes with the kill and horn switch facing away from the rider. Placing it in a place that is hard to...

    FE570 Map Switch

I am making my own Map Switch as the Husaberg Map Switch is just too hard to change when you are at the bottom of a nasty hill and all your mates are shaking their heads while you are pulling your gloves off and trying to get to the switch. What could Husaberg have been thinking when they gave...

Bought KTM light/horn/kill switch, kill function doesnt work

I just bought a KTM switch for my '09 FE570. The switch includes a blue horn button, high beam, lowbeam and red engine kill button. It plugs straight into the factory harness and works great except the kill swith doesn't work. I was hoping I could remove the stock engine kill switch and replace...

Radiator hose Inline fitting for fan temp switch

I found some links by LeFrog I believe. Anyone done this with sucsess? Part numbers for the switch as it is a 1/8" NPT thread? This looks like the cleanest fix if you don't have a threaded radiator plug,( pre 06?). http://www.egauges.com/vdo_acce.asp?Subgroup=Hose_Adaptors...
