Basically it gets on but doesn't feel too secure on the open end and as it is so hard to fit wouldn't want to fit one if the link broke on the trails!! Anyone found the same? Any...

    Why would my chain jump?

This is an '08 and the rear sprocket and chain are pretty new. I put a new front sprocket on (15t), but it wouldn't fit with the chain slider, so I modified the slider. There's not much room around the 15t, so I was a little paranoid. I've never tried this with my 'berg, but I ran it in first...

Hello, I'm going to change cam chain, the new one that I buy is with the split-spring clip from Iwis. In manual from Iwis is written that closed end of spring clip must look in the way of rotation. I try to look for rotation direction through oil cap and looks like the cam chain travel goes...

Is this chain still usable ?

I only have about 50 hours on the bike and chain (an 08), but I noted this small stains of rust on it. Is it dangerous ? should I replace it or is it normal when the bike is being stored for long periods of time? Thanks Mati
