Hi everyone!
I have an Husaberg FS 570 2011 and hope you guys can help me either calm down or find out what's wrong.
I'm using the bike daily to and from work and in recent days I have noticed a strange "noise" in the engine, especially when the engine is cold and at deceleration. In my...
So looks like DJH doesnt offer a cam chain tensioner for the bikes earlier than 09'.
Id like to install one on my 08'FE450 then transfer it to my 07'FS650
when that engine is built.
Is there another out there comparible ?
I like the fact its fully mechanical & not relying on oil pressure...
Hi,
My restoration continues, and will soon need to get the drive bits sorted. Obviously, sprockets are worn / toast, so am replacing the whole trifecta.
I'd like to replicate what the previous owner had - 14T (OEM?) front, a really nice Supersprox 50T rear, and a high quality gold chain...
Hey all. I just finished up a valve adjustment, my first one on my new FE570. It went according to all the tutorials and the book and was pretty simple. The only thing I'm worried about is I haven't seen any specific info on installing the cam chain tensioner and I don't want to mess that up...

Hi,
Came back from a trail ride and noticed the upper roller that is sandwiched between the frame and battery basket is missing.
No worries, check the manual .... can't find the part on the pages for either battery basket or frame parts. The drawing doesn't show it. There's a part...
Hey guys,
Sent my head off to Thumper Racing for a port job.
While I am in the head/rocker cover I want to replace the rocker arm bearings, maybe cam bearings and use a Regina timing chain (Regina was recommended by JBS)
Anyone have the rocker arm bearing size and the Regina timing...
Hi all, just putting a new rear sprocket and chain on the berg.
How far forward do I want the wheel with a brand new chain on?
I can see some notches but not sure where the limit is.
Any advice appreciated
The swing arm has two notches the sliding part has 3?

Hi all
I want to replace the timing chain on my 07 FS550 soon. I've bought a new standard DID chain together with the standard joining link to suit. I know there's a ridiculously expensive OEM tool that can be used to make the join but are there any other aftermarket tools that will do this...
Hi,
to complete rear wheel refurbishing I renewed sprockets, chain and chain guide as well. Maybe this is helpful for someone...
Since the old chain guide is somehow pretty worn I decided to order a new one (pics below). Same with the sprockets. I opted for the original ratio I ordered a...
Hi all.
Wasn't able to find anything on replacing the auto decomp procedure so I have a question about doing it with out breaking the timing chain in my 2003 400.
I have an IWIS timing chain that's riveted, the chances of finding a split link around here are Nil and it seems in excellent...
I have a rattly cam chain and it appears to be the tensioner. I came across the Dirt Tricks tensioner and wanted to ask if this is the answer? I'm not interested in a manual tensioner and wanted to retain the hydraulic tensioner but one which works.
Thanks
Hi there,
Recently, I think I've started noticing a different ticking sound coming from my 2011 FS570, which has 140 hours on it, and around 9,300 km. It hasn't been ridden particularly hard by me. No long distance high revs, mostly just braaping around town cracking small wheelies. I've been...
After my 1st couple of hours riding my "new" 'berg the chain guide plastic insert has started to disintegrate. Anyone have a good/quick source for parts and accessories like this that will deliver to Aus?
I want to get some consumables like oil and air filters and anything else you good folk...

Hello,

Hi fellow Berg riders,
I recently picked up a 2009 Fe570 which is fully converted to sm.
She has excel wheels and full Beringen 6 pots brake set up.
Got my plate yesterday and naturally i've been riding a while +-180km over 2 days.
But now I've encountered some issues :(
1. She pulls great in...
I'm trying to get into the engine, to check the cylinder head.
I have run into trouble getting the timing chain off.
whats the best method?
I'm considering splitting the chain but any other suggestions are good.
While I have it tore down this far is it good to replace the timing chain and cam gear? And what are some good resources for finding such parts or cross overs to something else that will work in it.
I have a 2005 fs with a 97 501 motor.
