Hi, have any members tried or are using the R&D Power Pump 2 Accelerator Pump Cover if so does it improve the bottom end response and or does it aid reducing the occasional hot stall i experience, i'm riding a 2004 fe 550 trail riding thanx..........colin
I would like some feed back too very interested in people thoughts on this and other brand leak jet kits.

just about to fit one but berg owners should find the power bowl 1 as the screw is on the open side not behind the exhaust
Well apparently according too the blurb on ebay it does all this "R&D Racing's new Power Pump w/adjustable leak jet (ALJ),
will allow you to tune your accelorator pumpsetting in seconds, for that crisp spot on throttle response
you are looking for.
R&D's ''ANTI-CAVITATION'' Accelerator pump chamber, is State of the Art, designed
with two separate fuel ports. Port one, is positioned at the highest point in the fuel chamber, providing a
natural purge, allowing entrapped air to escape through the leak jet orifice. Port two, is isolated low in the
fuel sump area, assuring 'FUEL ONLY' into the venturi. so i reckon it allows you too vary the amount of fuel used in the accelerator pump..........colin

Did this mod to both my 06 550 and 08 450 with great results and never have need any other adjustments once set, the r &d thingy acheives the same result, fuel squirt time/amount!! had the bowl type on the 550 and the adjustment kept changing(screw moved) got my money back and did the mods

thing is the adjustable leak jet powerbowl thingly doesn't get to change the size of the jet up in the carb throaght that does the squirt
it just lets more or less fuel out the leak back into the bowl so if you only need a tiny amount of fuel like the bergs its not much help i would think.
if you could adjust the size of the jet actually doing the squirting you could turn the dribble we need into a nicer fine spray and increase the duration.
