Here is a close up of the engine. Cylinder tilted 70 degrees and everything is "misplaced".

I LOVE IT !!!

WOW, that looks nice. Not completely forward like the Speedway bike though. Adjusting the valves will be a doddle now :)

So as suspected, the motor / trans is a stacked affair with the crank over the countershaft. Basically, it is a right side drive motor that has been rotated in the chassis.

efi, efi,

just wish it was black and yellow.

did it run or was it static non- running display only?

WOW...I'm glad we are still a BERG dealer...YEE HAW...it will be interesting to see what kind of 1st model year jitters the bike will have, but otherwise, it looks GREAT...looks like still uses same oil filter, same radiator, is that an external oil line I see...a first for Berg? Looks like close to same steering head angle, also same T-clamps and now wrap around fork guards like those new orange bikes. Sprocket on left but I see NO kickstarter...yikes? Even though there is an airbox looking thing, it appears the shock may still be straight and not at an angle? You know, it just dawned on me...that air box is probably fuel? with that perimeter frame, how are they getting capacity unless thats fuel back there...which sounds good for distributed weight and a low center of gravity. anyway....COOL!

Very cool looking bike. Looks more like a KTM than I expected though.

The big question is when do we see it? I bet we dont see it until next summer at the earliest.

If KTM/HSB wants to sell the 08s, they better have some programs in the works as most guys will be holding off if their current bike is running fine.

ALot of feedback here is that people see this as a new learning curve and will likely stick to the older style until some growing pains on the new models happen. alot of people here really like the 08s..I dont see a problem selling them.

My drool glands are working overtime!!!!

I love it!!! I'd love to know more about CG and frame design. Keep the pics coming!!!

It looks like they are "hanging" the motor off the frame towards the front! Are there two mounting points???

ooh thats nice, do you think the tank runs down from the top under the seat and above the shock ?

Looks like a cool bike, I can't wait to see more of it.

Thanks for the pics!

Any word on what displacements will be available?

450 and 570 is what I've been told. I really hope that by the time of actual release there will be a 600+ engine...

@Jocke
Have you mentioned it to the Husaberg crowd that you and nearly a mio. other Husaberg enthusiats are looking forward to a 600+cc engine. Otherwise, if i will get the possibility to put some more stroke in it like i can with the KTM 560 SMR engine than i´m happy too.

No, not yet. But you can count on that I will. As soon as they get back from Milan.

More (better) pics and info is supposed to arrive any minute now...
