I heard the '09 range will feature a port to direct inject N20 (aka Nitrous Oxide). The secret photos I have seen show a canister under the fuel tank, the size of a shock reservoir, that holds 5 - 10 minutes worth of boost depending on the adjustable delivery rate. A thumb operated switch on the LH handlebar, similar to a kill switch, delivers the potent gas. My sources indicate a 20.4hp!! gain on the 550 motor alone. Holeshots will be guaranteed as will clearing those pesky triples. Bring it on baby.............
I've even heard it could be a KTM with small modifications and in Husaberg clothing.
