we all know what a 'gem of information is', it's something that will save you a fortune and does the job better than you knew how before. the best example of that was the R6 starter. well DL and me (a DL also) gave away stuff that only he knew, secrets, stuff that cost him some of his livelyhood.

so please, save it. Real steps forward do happen here but they take hours and hours of hard work and research and when they happen we shall all recognise it.

copper appears to be the better gasket and cheaper

granted Gazzas safari team noticed the problem first but if you look for info on it its bergsmlergs posts that will help people out.

Eventually I remembered where MCRP came from, but by then I'd Googled it - you'll need to be careful how you use it to avoid confusion as one of the meanings is "Master Composter & Recycler Program".

Include things like a "whos who" on the forum, things theyve done for us, mug shots etc etc

ALso, a whos who in the factory, id love to know about the people that built by bike.
Past and present riders/championships. Anything really

That way, newbies like me can keep up when things get interesting/heated as they often do.

My FE570 does looks fine and dandy in my garage I can't see it getting sold for anything, I just took another look and I can't get behind where you are going "piece of crud" 8O 8O . They just look the part the new LDC's.
I am keen on a 08 450 but am broke after wacking $16K on the 570. More like $17K with the added bling and Subframe Tank. It's a little bit fancy now :wink:
I can't put my finger on why I like riding my mates 08 FE450 though. I really enjoyed reading ORANGEBERGS post re the old school Bergs. Lucky this joint is a good place to learn. I am definitely refraining from posting on old school users posts from now on. Think that upsets the apple cart.

I like this idea but I guess there are no resources or time to make it happen. Even a button in the menu box with this info would be good. Could be hidden so only users see it.
Why did Dale Lineweaver leave UHE and why was he logged on the other day?

from what i know lineweaver seems a very busy chap and i dont think it was a case of leaving it just his work took him away from Husabergs.

He does pop in now and then.

As far as a couple of the other suggestions that have been floated;

The fact the bike are pretty bulletproof compared to the older models has also contributed to the lack of more technical questions as people simply dont have to pull em apart as often. Give me a bike i dont have to strip all the time anyday, and i aint going to strip it just for the sake of curiosity (actually i have for a couple of things but it was nothing major)

for those that can get one Trail bike and enduro mag (TBM) in the uk have tests on the 2st this month. they also have some very nice things to say about the 4st bikes so perhaps they arent quite the piles we've all wasted our money on.
