secondly, that 85 PJ is infact your choke jet. you have three jets in a row in the baser of your carb. they should come out plus or minus a few numbers at:
40
175
85.

Well that would make sense now wouldn't it

Right now It has a 155 main, needle 3rd clip from the top, and apparently a choke jet of 85. Is the 155 kind of low even for this altitude? When I had a KTM 620 with an FCR41 it wouldn't start without a main of at least 160. How many turns should idle screw be at? Right now it's at 1.5 turns.

to me you look spot on. the ps should be set for best reaction when warm from a closed throttle. known as the snap wheelie test.

How goes the battle? You must be doin' alright if you crashed it and broke stuff! :D

Crap!!!!! I did not even have my seat on the bike.....

Saturday, I got everything sorted out....bled clutch, brakes, buttoned things up, hung exhaust enough to run the bike. I was waiting for a few gaskets to come in the mail and I decided to just take it around the drive way just to check the brakes and what not......decided not to put on any gear (I know I am a flipin dummy!!!!!) and since I was going to just go around the drive way I will leave off the seat and plastic.

Damn I am an *****!!!!!!!!!!!!! Throttle stuck just a bit and I looped the bike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now my *** and back has some nice rash on it.....it is really hard to sit on your *** with rash and try and fix flipin teeth.

So my rear subframe loop needs some welding and the muffler mounts on the muffler are knocked off......everything else is just fine.

I can say though that the bike is running and still is running like a top!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need help the the decomp cable. I can't get the thing adjusted. I am talking the auto decomp cable, not the cam decomp, and not the manual lever but the one that runs off the kicker. When it is hooked up, it will not allow for the compression to build up. When I remove it, I can start the bike immediately. I would like some help with that.

I seriously need an exhuast.....I can fix the Big Gun...but it is way too loud. If anyone has a spare that will fit a 650 let me know. Or a deal on another brand, but the Big Gun is Big Loud!!!!!! Shoot I would even consider paying shipping from England or Australia if there is someone going to donate one.

Ok my *** hurts, later.

Well, how did the throttle get stuck in the first place? Does the cable slide freely? The Dellorto has a big fat spring that recoils pretty well and fast.

Now for the kick activated cable... Again... It is not a necessity.

Although you do have a 650, so it is worth trying to fix at least for a while.

some people simply have no sense...

and where there's no sense there's no pain!

yipee!!!!!!!!!

regards

Taffy

Evidently I have plenty of sense because I have all kinds of pain.....apparently I did not use said sense....thus my predicament.

I do not have a Dellorto I have a FCR carb....and the cable holder was needing some modification to get the nut to hold it in place....evidently I need to modify it more so the nut holds the cable more solidly in place.

Live and learn....fun!!!!!

Been some mufflers on E Bay as of late. Sorry to hear of the "Incident", but must admit I chuckled a bit. :) My riding buddy just bought a vacation home in Mayer and we are planning some summer riding up there soon. If you live close to Mayer, you are welcome to join us.
