How to tell a 450FE motor from fe570 motor visual or engine number?

Ok here's the story, I recently bought an 09 FE570 from a guy (for cheap!). Runs great a few electrical bugs that I have fixed. When looking at the wiring last weekend, saw on the barely legible foil sticker on the headstock that the bike is an fe450! The title (same vin on the title as on the headstock) indicates its an fe570. I had an fe390 for a few years and from the power I see on this bike, its sure seems like a big bore. I also noticed that the title indicates its a "special construction", though looking at Nevada DMV rules, that designation seems pretty broad. Maybe an fe570 motor got dropped in? Is there any way to tell the motor size from the engine number or some external feature? Its 9-812* 02632.

Hello Mark,
it´s a 450cc engine.
All spare part nrs (812...)are 450cc pieces.
(817...)is 570cc.

Yeah, I see from the Fbook forum. Weird, its been registered as a 570 in Nevada since 2012. (I checked vin at purchase). Seller pleads ignorance so Im screwed there:mad:. Still for the price, its not too bad, main concern is that the title is incorrect, bringing into calif so I wonder if they will see the engine # info is incorrect?
