How bad am I screwed running the stock tires on my 2010?

Your fine. I ran a trials tire last time and it was good. I'm running M12's this time just because I got a good deal.

You can ride any tire ... the trials tires just make things a tad easier.

But regardless of what your choice is - heavy-duty tubes are a good idea to help avoid pinch flats.

Cheers! E-Ticket

yes, and i guess it matters how big the tad is.

yes, and bridgestone hd are very hd. also some slime helps, not when the tube is pinched but some barrell cactus. is it barrell cactus season in gunnison? i remember fritz saying its the bi-annual season for fruits and nuts.

13 days to go!!! Leaving in 11!!!
Looking forward to putting some faces to these names

You will have fun. Best part is; no whoops! Well, I did manage to find one trail w/ a few.

week to go.

riding gear all packed, flying out on the 13th, as long as i dont wrap myself at an event on the 11th, mmm is it a good idea to go riding so close?...of course it isnt but what the hell.

doing a slightly different route from Denver than last time and dropping into Almont via cottonwood pass - or thats the plan at the moment.

getting excited now.

Our two Berg's are safe and sound with Fritz. We fly out the 14th, we arrive in Denver at 11:30pm. What time do the rides start on Thursday the 15th? We are trying to decide when to leave Denver for Harmels.

You should coordinate directly with Fritz on that one. Especially if you need to pick up your bikes from him first.

Yep I was wondering the same thing. When will the rides start? Are we going to divide the rides to people's tastes and level of ability? So far looks like the place may be a little wet. Should be great!!
Tim

It seems that the rides on the first day usually happen around 10am. I would think you would want to be fed and somewhat ready by 8am or so. Yes there will be different groups.
Fritz will probably add to this in the next few days as he is the ride master.

Hello everyone
Riding is premo, spent 10hrs in the saddle Sunday,150miles.Looks like it is going to rain most of the week which is good because it is pretty dry as of late.I think we should plan a 10 am start on Thursday morning. We will probably have 6-to 10 guides.Plan on 2 track jeep road ride/dual sport or trail rides. There will be no easy trail ride or hard trail ride. The trails are the trails and that is what everyone rides, male, female or youth. There are some sections that are more difficult than others but this is not and will not be a race.I will do a small list of essentials.
Good or new tires. The Bridgestone 404 rear and 403 front with moose hd tubes are the set up. Dunlops mx51/71 won't hold up int the rocks nearly as well. Pirelli trials rear tires are also very popular. I have never used one, but sell the crap out of them. Dunlop and Michelin trials tires do not hold up at all.
Try to be prepared to fix a flat on the trail. Tire irons, 3 co2's , a lite duty 21" tube (will work in front and rear)
If on a 2 stroke you need a small container to carry premix. Lite rain coat in case it snows or rains, usually it only does for a short period of time. Bring a hydration pack (camel bak or other). Camera or Go-Pro (we sell Go-Pros if you need).
That's it for now. I will try to post more as I think of it.
Our store carry's most everything, I will offer a 10% discount to all HBG force ride 4 riders
Thanks Fritz

We may not get in until noon. Will there be mulitple rides on Thursday or are you coming back for lunch? We can make 10am and don't want to change anything but if the ride circles back or takes a break back at Harmels we may wait and hook up then.

Just got off the phone with Steve Drewlo, ktm/hbg rep. We will have 1 TE300 a 390 and 570 for sure for the ride. There will be 1 more bike also,it will be another 390 or 570

Fall is in the air! Can't wait to ride Taylor Park with you guys. Mr. Smooth, 6 more days! single track in the 60s in damp conditions... how premo is that! See you guys soon.

I'm wishing the days away until then. It will be great to ride with you again. I'm looking forward to seeing the skills you learned at the Shane Watts class in action. Casey is actually excited (hard to tell I know). Fritz is getting Caseys bike up to snuff. There will be some epic singletrack ridden, with or without a guide.

I'm looking forward to riding the TE300 at some point also.

PS> Just found out that our riding gear is due in at Fritz's by EOB on the 14th!! Thats cutting it close.

PSS> We are in cabin #2. I just called and found out that the heated pool and hot tub have been shutdown for the season.

Maybe this guy is one of us but I have a contour camera too and stumbled onto his video of Taylor Park. Going to be great!! My Camera has a GPS built into it so you can see Speed and Elevation. So everyone can see how slow I am!

Here is one of from my flying video.
