Force Ride 4

Crap maybe that would have worked. Don’t mind helping out any state for their Hunting, Fishing or Land use.

$25.50 well spent.

Here is where I bought it

https://parksstore.state.co.us/

Don’t buy it if you don’t have to. I just did not do any research before I plunked down my CC

Let us know what you find out. I will have a pretty little souvenir to show when I return to the Mitten State.

After further review it would seem that everyone will need a sticker. In the past I have purchased them just to support the CO trails. It now appears mandatory.
In Arizona, if you are a non resident with a current out of state sticker, you are good for 30 days. It does not appear that CO is not cutting any slack.

All I can say is that it is well worth the investment. They actually put money back into their trail systems.

berger,
the last force ride the stickers were both mandatory and you had to have them.
i guess they are getting nicer since they are only mandatory this year.
i will be one of those who takes up your offer to pay for the sticker.
thanks. you are a cool dude.

:moon: Fixed that for ya Paul. (Your not supposed to mess with the moderators  )

Street legal bikes need OHV stickers also? In california my motorcycles are street legal. I have several OHV that I buy OHV permits for. In that Colorado webpage it describes OHV for OHV use not street legal for OHV use? Any body know for sure thanks Jeff.

It looks like if you are street registered you are OK. I'm hoping someone from CO will verify this. In Az you still need a sticker for anything under 1800 lbs regardless if it is street legal.
Here is a link to the CO laws.

That will be cool if we can get a confirmation on the registered street-legal bikes getting a by.
Both my bike and wife's are plated in Oregon, turn signals, mirror, etc. ... and have an Oregon OHV sticker as well.

If we can avoid having to get the "non-Colorado" sticker as well ... then you have just saved me $50.
And I need that for gas money!

Thanks, E-Ticket

I must say I look at the CO OHV sticker like going to a concert and buying a T-Shirt
Proof I had a good time in case I might have dank too much!!!

I have had enough to drink 3 bikes $52.00 OHV sticker +$92.00 street tags+insurance. My tee costs over $732.00 a year. So maybe another $75.00 for three days is a good deal. That would come to $9175.00 a year for three bikes plus insurance! Still need someone in Colorado to maybe find out so there will be no question thanks Jeff

If you have a street legal bike in another state, you are fine in CO.

(9)(a)Notwithstanding the provisions of subsections (1) to (8) of this section, on and after April 1, 2000, no person shall operate, nor have in his or her possession at any staging area, any nonredisent-owned or -operated off-highway vehicle within the state of Colorado unless such off-highway vehicle is covered by a valid license or registration of another state or country and such nonresident-owned or-operated off-highway vehicle has not been within this state for more than thirty consecutive days, or such nonresident-owned or -operated off-highway vehicle has been issued a permit pursuant to this subsection (9).

However, depending where you are riding DOT tires may be required. Fritz could probably say how they are regarding enforcement of non-DOT tires around where we will be riding. I'm assuming we are fine on that one too.

the waiting is almost like the feeling of Christmas.... not the part about being scared because you dad is wasted on egg nog and gonna beat you but sort of like the part were your uncle, the one who hides coins in his pockets and you have to fish them out, is gonna give you a good gift so you stay quiet.
just some fyi [pronounced pha ya eye]...there are two, possibly three, more from las vegas that arent listed on the thread that von berger has locked.
in the past we had to mind the content of our comments because you dont want to offend any p.g. reader but now you get edited for what you say and not how you say it. isnt this how the nazis started [Content Deleted. **** are used to show volume of post.] and then they would **** the ****** off to ****** to ***** ******* ** ****************, we have to ensure that we as a free people, except communist countries like england, etc, dont ***** our ******** to ***** at any cost. As ********** once said "**** ** **** ********** than ******". these words are as true today as they were in ***** when ********* and the ****** tried to ********* the masses by censor**** and ***********. i'm glad we live in a place were no one can ******** or ********** ** ************ *********.

Tut, Great Post. Can anyone tell us what trails we will be riding? I would like to get some maps and more importantly and like Tut said the aniticipation of this upcoming early Christmas present is half the fun, want to check out how much crazy fun we will be having online by looking some of this up! And maybe after I see some of these trails upping my life insurance so the Family will be OK until my wife trades up.
Thanks,
Tim

Here is a link to a few video's taken last month. The only one's I recognized for sure were Deadmans,Flag creek and the "pucker trail". I don't know if that is the actual name of the trail, but for sure it is a fitting title. I believe kzoo was the only one of the group to traverse that one, yes he walked the bike.
These vid's were taken by some ATR guys.

Except for the Pucker Point section ... that looks a bit like our riding area up in Gifford Pinchot:
