And the number of attendee's keeps climbing steadily!!!

I was trying to order a van from Japan but it's not going to happen in time. Now looking at putting a hitch on the Civic to tow the bikes down, also not looking good. So we're either going to borrow a truck from a friend, or ride down on our street bikes or wait for another year. But I really really want to go. Bad timing we're supposed to move into our new house Sept. 1, and need to cut firewood blah blah blah. If there were a bike rental place I'd fly in as well.

Mad, if this ride is anything like the past rides, there are going to be enough spare bikes for those that are unable to bring one. Having borrowed bikes for almost every gathering, I've never gotten assigned one that wasn't in fantastic shape.

Before I got my hands on it, of course.

I'm told that this is Bear Pass into Telluride Colorado. This is spectacular.

Hmmm, reminds me of Michigan, well... without the mountains, valleys, rocks... But other than that, just like it.

Ok my buddy says I can take his Durango, and I just talked to a guy who has a 3 bike aluminum trailer for sale I just need to figure out getting it shipped to my place and we're getting very close to FR3!!!!

I wouldn't be comfortable borrowing someones ride given that I will likely crash, and I know my GF definately would feel uncomfortable and nervous.

Hmm..... just might have to try and make this ride.
Sounds like it could be a tad on the epic side. (grin)

Cheers! E-Ticket

i did it for the last 2 force rides. the lads were very generous i must say. there is an old '96 FE400 that just keepss on going and is indestructable - rather like it's owner!

the last 2 force rides were on a combination of sand and rock which is a lethal combination but i reckon this one won't be like that. you are in more danger of hurting yourself than the bikes half the time.

they're very generous people the yanks.... (and i mean that most sincerely folks). all except tuts who'd have the shirt off your bike of course!

regards

Taffy

Anyone from the Portland Oregon area going to Force 3 that has room for a bike in their truck or trailer? I bought a 1942 BSA WM20 from a guy in Boring Oregon and it's been there for 6 months now waiting for me to pick it up. I have to pick it up this September or if someone could haul it to Force 3 then that would work out really good I could help with gas.
