I have two 2011 FE570S -one stock and one spiffed up with some trail and racing goodies. This one had the sudden stop issue (fuel starvation) about three years ago and I’m finally getting around to fixing it. Adding a new injector, new pump (need advice on a good pump buy), new filters, new battery. It also has the 70 degree subframe 1 gallon fuel tank. I will probably keep it on the bike. I’m not sure if it was the culprit in the sudden stop problems due to either fuel contamination or allowing air to get sucked into the pump. I hear the oem pumps are garbage. Might buy a Korean built pump from the shop in Port Angeles, WA.

As an '11 model, it should have the better pump in it- check it first, it's more likely just dirty filters. Replace ALL filters, CLEAN injector (must open with ~6V) check all electrical connectors FIRST before spending unecessarily. Definitely put a good Lithium battery in it.
They are a great thing, pumps get bad rap- was only first models that had the duds.
