Just bought a new TE300. My dealer is suggesting a mod to the carb including "factory jetting" and new throttle slide. Said that this is the same setup that the factory guys run. Supposed to increase low end chug and broaden power through out. Costs about $100. Anyone familiar with this, or is he just blowing smoke?
He is also pushing a Wet Mod to the E-Start system. Says that they seal the ignition side and change venting so that you can run oil and make it a wet system. He claims it drastically reduces maintenance and prolongs the life of the E-Start. Costs about $75. Has anyone ever heard of this?
