Hi guys there has been an error with my invoiced & just spoke to Janet about it,
I would not have known without seeing jcoless427's post.

It is true that the tank's I have will be selling for 200.00 not 240.00.

I don't have all right's to this tank I just did all the leg work & now
control all inventory for some time.

Sure am sorry about the mix up,Going to moab glad we got that cleared up!

See ya!
As you can see from this boss post you are talking about a $5.00 difference. Order your selfone up from justtanks and save the 5.00. Maybe you can now afford that can of soup you have been saving up for!

Gentleman, My whole point in this matter was to support my local dealer. I do realize many of you do not have a dealer 30 minutes away from you, as I do. As far as myself and ss550 being the same person, this is incorrect. The reason for the IP address mix up was because, I was signed in at his office looking at this site. After that he loged on and created his own account.

If you should choose to cancel my account, that's fine. Do what you feel you need to do!

Hey guys check Jcoless Ip and this post IP and the times.....we are NOT the same person. Geez guys do you treat all your new members like this or just the guys trying to save you a buck? Steve

Great work guys on the intel.

I cant think ( dont know 1 ! ) of too many dealers that run around telling everyone their cost prices so I wouldn't be surprised if these guys are a dealer. Won't do too much for your rep when Json works out where you trade from...:oops:

Boss has earn't much respect over time looking after his customers from the views posted on this site. If he doesnt want to sell them at a reduced margin that's his choice. If we want to support a UHE member, that's also a dealer, by contributing an extra $40 per tank that's our choice !

Support the blokes who support you ! Clarke aren't riding at Moab with a van of spares are they ?

Well said Wildman, work hard and reap the bounty. As for me I'm going with BOSS regardless of price. I do not have to help support this site but choose to do what i can. In short we all need to do what we feel is right.

Kind regards, Ryan

Euro Motors ? I want you and the other members of this site to know my past experiences with Euro Motors were pleasant, informed and honest transactions. I find this to be out of character.

Kind regards, Ryan

SS550,
No, I do not treat new members this way, usually. However, when someone new shows up here and they make to what I percieve to be dispariging remarks about someone who I have a great deal of respect for I'm going to defend them whether they need my help or not.

And by doing your homework I meant several things. #1 about the tank in particular, which on at least the point that is most important to me, BOSS is the sole distributor for a certain time frame to help recoup the rather large sum of money that he had to out lay for the mold. Do you know how much a mold costs??? #2 Had you done some more homework, IE a search of posts made by BOSS, you would have easily determined that he is not a "used car salesman". In fact, you would have found that he is very forthcoming with information about our bikes. #3 If you have ever spent anytime with Rick on the phone you would know that he is indeed a true "enthusiast", and an all around cool guy, and willing to help you out with any problems you might be having over the phone, free of charge.

So, let me start anew, first by apologizing for basically ripping you a new one publicly. I should have just sent you a pm, and as a moderator I should know better. So again, you have my apology, as I do not wish to alienate a new member. We all make mistakes from time to time, it's part of being human. It's what one does after the mistake is made that seperates the different degree's of charachter.

That being said. Welcome to the UHE at a very exciting time for most of us here that ride in the west and have finally found the holly grail, a big tank for long rides like all the other bikes have. Myself personally, I will gladly buy my tank from Rick to support him and his efforts over I believe the last year or more trying to bring this project together.

Dale "E" O,

Thanks for the apology but not nesessary. I was just trying to help the guy that doesn't have the extra $50.00 for a tank. I'am not a dealer. Enjoy your Berg's they are great bikes. I'am gone, I will remove myself from this sight. Thanks again Dale E O you are a class act.

I am baffled here. For years folks have complained that a large tank was not available for the Husaberg. Strangely enough, a small dealer (BOSS) commits to enough units to convince a tank mfg to create a mold and make a run of tanks, and folks don't want to help him out. Clarke likely has recouped their investment on the mold already based upon the commitment by BOSS to take the first run of tanks. BOSS meanwhile is holding a bunch of merchandise that he needs to sell. I hope he makes a few dollars off this, rather than just breaking even.
Even if he makes $50/ tank, if he sells 100 tanks he only clears $5,000, tha is not gouging. That my friends is not much, so just buy the tanks from BOSS to make it worth his while.

I too feel all should support Boss.
That is where i intend to buy my tank from...

I think a BOSS big tank would look really COOL when you ride right on by the spot where you ran out of gas in the past..

You might want to do a little more research about a guy before you start calling him a "Used Car Salesman" Having just gotten home from Moab I can tell you first hand that Rick Bozarth is a first class act. The poor guy was in a hurry to bring tanks and gear along with his personal items to Moab, in his excitement and haste he made an HONEST mistake about his pricing. He gave GENEROUSLY of his time in Moab to help other riders out (just ask Risky1) and for everyones information your local dealer will NOT have this tank for sometime nor will you be able to get it from Clarke for awhile. Rick controls the inventory of these tanks until such time as he recoups his investment. I now own one of the blue ones Rick kindly sold me one while in Moab and even though I insisted that I commited to buy that tank for $240.00 he would not accept the extra $40.00. Rick is an honest and straight up guy. He has made happen what most berg guys have been waiting years for. I will tell you that the blue tank is not the berg blue but closer to Yamaha blue

I 2nd what stoveguy says 4 sure, here is a pic of the tank on stoveguys bike, by the way who ever missed Moab you really missed out bad, Stoveguy was trip leader for 3 days, he rocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
