My Brother had a Hodaka when I was a young fella must have been over 30 years since I have heard the word Hodaka
I remember it because he changed the points in it and must have set them wrong because it kicked back and started backwards. It was funny watching him take off backwards when he let the clutch out :D

49,mental age of 10 and a body that feels like 80 after an enduro.Started riding at 16 and have had road, trials,
enduro and mx bikes.Soon to be the owner of a new 390 berg. Yee haa. :bounce3:

Age 20, my first bike is my current Husa 450. Had a Derbi 50cc before, but that's not a real bike
When my studies are finished i would like to buy a Husaberg enduro bike.

In your sums what age did you use for Ned37? He said he was 17 but he looks about 18 in that photo talking to Taffy

Age 39

First bike ride- on a mates honda 2 stroke fifty, the one with the blue tank and white guards I think ,at age 5 or 6 back then.
Was told not to go near the motor bike by parents. 3 minutes later I told my mate they said it was ok to have a go on it. As i sat on it ,it took off out the drive, down the street with me screaming in terror, managed to turn it around some how and come back up the street screaming,my mates mum dragged me off it as I went past, the handle bars turned in the process as she grabbed me off the bike, which resulted in a trip to the hospital, 4 stitches in the top lip and food was administered by a straw for a week or 2. mainly lived on icecream and mashed bannana until wounds healed.

Next try- on a 2 wheel bike at age 17. Purchased a 1981 honda XL 250. 3 pairs of handlebars, front & rear guard, a fuel tank, smashed both speedo and tacho guages, 19 clutch and brake levers later , finally learned to ride some and hold it up right.( no natural riding talent there!)

Number of years later 1988 XR 600 honda for 2 years.

Then another go later- 1992 XR 600 a couple of years.

2000 FE600 kicker- rocket ship

2004 FE 550- more user friendly but sold it

Current another 2004 FE550.

I have competed in about 12 enduro events over the years, a couple of natural terrain mx, 2 open desert type races.Heaps of trail riding time.

Hey BergBro,

Hope you don't mind, I added an age poll at the beginning of your thread here. If you don't like it I will remove it, but, thought it would be kind of cool so that everyone could kind of see where the majority of riders are age wise.

Dale

Yep. Plus he's a really good guy. Although I've never met him face to face, he treated me WAY right when I needed a coil for my '02 FC470. Thanks again Ned!

I had to use a little "surveyors licence" and discount that entry altogether due to obviouse dishonesty. But I did add him back in once he feesed up to an obviously more honest 19.
I think you will find DaleEO has sorted some of the issue out with his addition.

question......
since my girl rides a berg and is pregnant, the kid is actually -0.75 yrs old;;and mike 'dezduster' is 20 yrs past dead, can i average those two together and pick 80-85 yrs old twice?????

not many kids in the club then !

but mostly cashed up old baby boomers it seems

maybe owing a Berg is a bit like the BMW Z3/Z4 convertable of the off-road world
