Observe that THIS IS the new slimmer tank. The one previous shown must have been a PS-job...

These guys MUST be working hard on the '09 models!!! That ain't much of a change. But, it's nice to see a CNC machined Handbrake cylinder cover!

Otherwise, the supermoto looks sweet!!!

BNG = Bold New Graphics

They look nice, especially the Supermoto in black like last years.

I think that it is almost sue-able to not make the slim tank in black now that they have made it standard on the FE models.

Hey those are nice looking bikes. I'm glad that Huseberg was confindent enough to make small refinements to the already great bike. Now the question is; "is Husaberg still on top, or have the redesigned KTM enduro bikes and revised Husqvarnas (13 lb weight loss with new chassis) caught up to (or passed) Husaberg?"

Looks as though they are blinged up for 08, but thats about it.

I miss the flames from the 07s already.

Reliability would be one...

I see no mention of strengthing crankcases or better main bearings or big ends.......

The new motor and frame are expected to come in 2009 model. If I am not mistaken, they're working on it for already ~5 years.

what a crock of sh*t. the real 2008 has a new frame, motor changes, including major top end changes. OK for marketing reasons it may come in 2009, but I understood it was ready for 2008. I note the steaker has an H and then USA. so there are a lot of unsold 07s that they are going to put a copy of the aluminium racing tank on. Most of us want the 10 litre for versatility and the aluminuim for racing. Stick some black rims that scratch easily and get away with that being an 08 model... ha had. At the same time ktm com out with an new motor. Oh well I was ready for the real 08 model, but now if this is true I will buy some of the shelved (yes hidden) xr 400s. Easy to sell later and wait for the real 08 that this seems to say will be coming out in 09????? I always find in interesting when the factory is confident and happy with a model, it has the bright blue and yellow colours....I don;t see that in the pictures of this bike. I think it would be a mistake not to release the real 08 bike. I know they have a lot of 07 ( and 06 ) bikes unsold but this will not help. This is obviously a ploy to get the 07 sold as the 08 is not much different ,.,.. ha ha.

Comments are welcome, but once I know this is really what is coming...those cheap xr400 look ok for a year....

berg owner rider since 1982, desparately wanting the real 08 bike. I wonder what the isde bike in chile will look like????????

I think you are right, the 08 bike is exactly as the 05,06,07 model, just a few changes on colors¡¡¡¡

What? Huh? Leftovers? I heard that Hbg was sold out and that the only bikes left were on dealer floors.

New isn't always better, just different. Funny, the 2008 YZF claims lots of changes, but reading the specs I only see small things, yet Hbg claims no changes but fixes small things and doesn't mention it. Remember when Coca-Cola made the new recipe, only to have to re-introduce "coke classic" after the new and improved version flopped? Remember when Honda quit making the '92 based cr250 and went aluminum and tanked? Husaberg has a gem of a bike and has to tread carefully to avoid a flop. To release a 260 lb Hbg would be a mistake, or to release a bike that breaks and regain the reputation as a breaker would be even worse.

'berg owner since 1982? 'splain that one to me please.

Like i said I see no mention of strengthing crankcases or better main bearings or big ends.......

talked to a dealer last night....for what its worth he said that the new fe's will come street legal out of the crate for the us bikes. seems to me that they weren't too far from that already. does that mean dot approved tires too? i hope not.
