Look what I found in the brake fluid reservoir when I was changing brake fluid... 8O
Does anyone know what it is? It kinda looks like silicone that has gone old and grainy.
Can brake fluid get like this when it gets old or has someone mixed different fluids that shouldn't be mixed?
I've seen...
I could buy a used Beringer 6-pot front brake with 310mm disc and some Brembo master cylinder for a reasonable price, but will it be that much better than the original enduro brake with 320mm disc and an adapter?
The adapter and disc would be much cheaper, but the beringer costs about a third of...

My mates ktm 300 is frustrating the knob out us ,it is the rear brake line and cylinder, I have bleed it with a pump about 10 times so far, it holds out for a ride or so then fails. When we pump the air out there is heaps and heaps of air in the line and the fluid drops very little in the slave...
Hi,
My bike melted it's rear brake line due to proximety to the exhaust. Is there a readily available break line off a KTM or something that will work as a substitute? I do not have a dealer around me for a long distance, 10+ hours.....I can order it off of bike bandit, but don't want to wait...
Guys,
I've run 2 sets of OEM pads through my Berg (08 FE550). After a weekend playing in the mud, it seems like I'm due for another set (at least in the rear). So I pose the question; what brand / composites are others running for these bikes?
I'm guessing it’s going to come down to conditions...

I have purchased a 03 FS Husaberg and recently found a set of cush drive wheels off another FS from the 06 model year. They however did not come with brake rotors and I found a great deal on a rear Husaberg rotor off new FS570 bike, the bolt holes do not line up.....did they make a wheel brand...
Ok, stupid question. Any trick to getting the pin out that holds the rear brake pads in place (2000 FE501) I pulled the little keeper out of the pin & the pin spins, but won't slide out easily. I thought I would ask before I get out the vise grips and hammers. Thanks Dudes !

Anyone know of any other people making pads for the magura caliper on the FS570?
The stock ones are ok but lack in inital bite and feel. will test em at the track this weekend but I think there must be better.

Anyone found pads or technique to eliminate a nasty squeal on the rear brakes?
Tried beveling the pad edges and anti-squeal goo... still obnoxious.
Thanks,

Hi all
I have an 2009 fe450.
It was purchased in Australia but I believe it was an European model.
Does anyone know what brake pads front and rear (brand/ hard/ soft etc.) came standard with the bike.
They are the best pads I have ever had from a feel and wear point of view and would like to...
