wtf is that hole?

you can see the little hole with the rust-coloured crap coming out of it, just forward of the join on the exhaust. what the hell is it for?? am i missing a vital component/screw? or am i worrying about nothing and its supposed to be there to scare new berg owners as it spews forth rust coloured crap?

it's an '09 FE 450.

hello.that hole is for draining water from your ignition plug,and shud be open always

so this is normal..keep on riding

If there is rusty water coming out of that hole then I would imagine that your plug base is rusting? Perhaps a closer inspection is warranted?

I put my air nozzle on that hole give it a blast of air and twist the plug cap just enough to break it free and it pops right off, much easier than trying to pull the cap off.

ok thanks, will do.

also, i've noticed a bit of oil seeping out of where the gear lever attaches to the engine. its only a small seep - maybe a drop an hour - but it is annoying. are those seals hard to change?
