v. early force ride '09 thread.

Ive jumped on the bandwagon early both times before. Dont mind doing some of the work up front either.so........................

I am going to make two votes

First Boss area in Oregon. plenty of different types of ridding and easy to follow trails in good location and strong probability of moisture in the ground. Ill even help getting you and your bike up there if you can get here. With GPS we had no trouble in Moab and we will not in Oregon either so dont worry about getting lost.

Second............ Here :p I know the place like the back of my hand :D
Almost NO RULES in N Nevada.... you can ride where ever you want when ever. I have on site 3 guides

I wont go back to Moab....BTDTx2 dont need to do it again..... Maybe some where else in Utah..... Az ok with me also. ... If you only try one place you are never going to see all this big country has to offer. Almost any where we get together we will have a good time if we can ride our bikes and have a fire with cocktails.

Not complaining ..........just sayin......

lets get started boys

Arizona is easily done, I just won't suggest it at the risk of being called a homer. Dead of winter is the best time, daytime temps 50-75F.

Here is a thought..... Arizona with an excursion to Baja Mexico.

Just something to make you go hmmmmm......

Colorado would be great as well, got a few good members up there. Need to ride there before they shut it all down.

Gentlemen,
I think Bob has hit the nail on the head with the above statement, as well as Berger. There is way too much country out there for us not to ride in.

Put me down for just about anywhere. I'm sure it will be fun.

Jason,
How about starting a short term poll with Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, and any other place you want to add. Could be one way for all to voice a location(s) to look at or consider. Just a thought.

just like i er! i mean he said! :) :)

the difference is that whereas for the first two rides splat (especially, dez and berger (a helluva lot) stood up to the plate from the off along with bob and ossaman.

the oregon boys just seem to have dissolved and although they're sure to be back as we get nearer the day i don't like that particular strategy...might as well go meet strangers, at least if i don't like the company i keep i can change it!

I'm not to sure what to say after reading that last bit taffy,
the boy's from the northwest are alive & well!

Thing's have been very hectick for some time but with long hours
have started to smooth out.My focus has been with my wife who is do in january,
Also with the berg transition!!

I & other nw'ers will be able to provide a great time for all!!

Please think about it thank's

it's not personal boss, like you say, you've been away, then bend i don't has been in, Jwilkey, your business partner, the one with the voice from aliens "we're all going to die!" sorry (he'll kill bme for saying it yet again!) but i've forgotten even who he is!

it's not about just me (or even me) but i think when there is a vacuum of unanswered questions because they're not even around then it's poor!

when we had the first ride i could find dez, splat, berger and json on here at anytime of the evening and we weren't going backwards we were going to do it!

The China Hat riding area that BOSS refers to is very well known and loved by riders from all over. Additionally, BOSS has a reputation of being a great riding host. The only (and this may be big) is the cost (~$660, assuming 3,000 miles at 17mph at $3.75/ gallon) of travel (by truck) for folks on the east coast bringing bikes (I know this will pale in comparison to plane tickets).

well if tha canopoks can cozy up in a truck for 22 hours each way without turning queer then i'm bloody sure berger and froggy can!

you just gotta make freinds boys!

Well I don't really care where it is I'll be there, and if everyone can stand those Honda boys and thier un-reliable machines, then they are in too. Anybody up for an unofficial Moab ride in March ? We are also going to hit the Adelanto Gran Prix in February if anyone is interested.

Wow, has this post exploded! I am interested where ever we decide to go. I live in Bend, and ride China hat a bunch, a good time can be had there, but I do wonder if the force ride should be a little more central USA so the east coast guys can participate and keep cost equal for all. Someone in Moab was saying Colorado has some *****'in trails....uh stove something... As for the Oregon guys dropping of the chart, I don't auto log, but check in everyother day or so, just to keep an eye on Taffy  hehehe Also, if Bend is the desired destination, I am willing to help with organizing.

Has anybody looked into Tennessee? I have some fond memories of the Sequatchie National Forest. Look into the Trials Training Center, one of the best riding adventures I ever had. ALMOST better than ***! Great trails, accommodations , might be able to handle a bigger group. centrally located.

Colorado is fine with me just didn't want anyone calling me "homer". It's just that if you want to ride up high, that is a mid to late summer thing. Could be a little spendy for those from outside the US to fly in. There are some good camp site / RV places would have to do some checking for those hotel/moteling it. Anywhere is fine with me Bend, No. Nevada, Calif., Timbuktu. It's the rif raf that shows up that makes it worthwhile, that and Bobzilla's chilli.
