For reasons that are not 100% remembered by me, the taillight wires in my 2005 fe550 end in snipped wires instead of in a little socket i can put a light bulb into. Most of the time, no worries, but I got a street license plate for the bike, so I'd like to be able to turn the light on, just in case. I was hoping maybe someone had upgraded to the much better-looking 2006 taillight and maybe had the 2005 parts still lying around annoying their wife or otherwise getting underfoot. Assuming it's the same as the ktm part, it's like $23, which seems like alot to me, and I'd probably just get the 2006+ taillight with its more streamlined look.
