I have the Enduro Engineering rear brake switch kit on my bike. It is a plug in setup that runs the brake light on AC. I didn't like the fact that the headlight dims when the brake light comes on, so I did some rewiring. I moved the power wire for the rear brake switch to the fused yel/red wire on the connector block near the battery. This now provides DC to the brake light. The headlight and tail light are still AC. (DC to the brake light is fine since both systems share the same ground). It works very well.
