I have a 1996 FC400that is in pretty fair shape, but I have not been able to ride in the past 3.5 years. I did take it out for a quick spin around the neighborhood last year though.

I ned the room in the garage and would like to get rid of it. Years ago, this web site provided loads of valuable information from a lot of good people - now it's time to give back!

If you are willing to travel to Southeast Minnesota you can have it.

email me at [email protected] if you are interested.

p.s. it might be a week before I can get back to you as I am leaving for vacation tomorrow night, but I will answer back to any interested party.

Thanks for checking in and "giving back". I know it's been along time. I hope all has been well with you.

If you are giving it away, may I suggest donating it to the site and running a site based competition with it as the prize? I'm sure Jason would be appreciative. The winner could arrange to pick it up.

If I had the time to put toward this I would, but I work 12-14 hours per day, travel a lot for work and am busy at home. If Jason wants to take control as an administrator and award it as a prize for a contest I would be fine with that.

As I said, I am leaving on vacation for a week and won't be able to return messages until next Monday.

I guess that is what I had in mind.

All the same I have not mentioned it to Jason, and my apologies if this is not OK with him.

I am sorry I could not get back to the forum as quikly as I anticipated as I had some catch up to do at work. I did get some emails from interested parties and I will reply tomorrow from work (where the emails are!)

Thanks,

Greg

Greg,

That is a gorgeous old girl, you have kept it in superb condition by the look of it!

I'd be stoked to have it in my shed.

Azza.

Thanks for the pix. It proves the '99 plastics go straight onto a '96 & look better than the originals!

Thanks for the replies. It's in pretty fair shape and just before I put it in the shed for a 4 year nap, I put a new top end in it that probably has less than 2 hours on it.

I also have a full set of aftermarket plastic for it (without the tank). the color is a much brighter yellow and it doesn't look quite right so I put the original back on.

I think I found a good home for it and it should be getting picked up this coming weekend. I think he will be happy with it and serve him well.

Thanks again for putting together such a great forum and community. When the itch comes again I will seriously consider a new (or used) Husaberg. You make it all worth it.
