Well, aside from Michigan and Indiana (no body want's either...) The only other place I've ridden is in Colorado last year; it was pretty cool.

I talked with Fritz the other day about coming back to that location and he had several idea's about how to make it better than last time. Knowing what I know now about the Forest service reg's, and having more time to plan, and explore a lot more places there. My vote is one more year in Gunnison, as it is the most centrally located in the lower 48, and then next go round we try someplace new.

The only exception this time is to make it a bit earlier, like August.

What say you all?

i dont think GASGAS should be involved.....

....last time i came home and bought the new bike and i just haven't got any room in the shed for a GASGAS as well :D

But really being as its Clay i dont see any problem.

As for location i'll leave that to you folks that have to travel, for me its easy to just fly / drive pretty much anywhere.

Clay seems a really nice bloke and I've heard nothing ill towards but he's not offering to do anything for the ride, he just wants to be there. what he'll do, he'll do for gasgas won't he? so unless you get the same treatment from a headline sponsor: you're going to be looking over at the gasgas freebie show in awe?

and FR4 loses its identity like that?

UHE is about a small group of friends finally meeting face to face for a group ride. its aided by most knowing each other before they start and those that knew nobody soon pick it up? we do these things for ourselves first and foremost because we are the ones putting the effort in?

thats how it seems to me?

wherever you go, you need bigger numbers than last time. FR2 was just about right for numbers while FR1 was excellent the second had the better numbers.

Taffy

I will say there is some fine riding in Idaho. There is no singletrack where I am, mostly because I am solo and exploreing some of the animal trails can get tricky. Make sure you have all the proper licence and stickers here because they want to ruin your day if they can.

You are right about Clay, he just wants to tag along as he liked our site and how everyone really was into the brand.

I have yet to contact the rep for HBG NA to see if they want to be a part of it.

And I couldn't agree with you more about the UHE members getting together and having a good time riding together. However, in light of the economics of at least our country at the time, I don't think we are going to be able to get more than we had last time. In contradiction to the lame stream media our country is not in recovery, and real unemployment is around 25%. So, short of offering all expenses paid free trip I'm a little short on idea's on how to get more people. Any idea's you, or anyone else has to help get more of the Husafaithful to the ride would be greatly appreciated.

Awesome pics and trails Killer!

Im all for Gunnison CO again. I went with Kzoo last time and had a riot. The last days ride with Nate, Jason and I was just epic. I need me more of that.

When is this planned? I have friends moving to Colorado and would love and excuse to fly out and ride.

I have been all over Colorado on a sportbike (which was awesome) - but nothing yet on a dirtybike.

So yah, I'd vote for Gunnison and/or Colorado!

E-Ticket

Gunnison is good for me again. Besides, I know the hospital takes my insurance.

get back to some early season sunshine lads. go riding in the spring with the sun on your backs. get down in the utah belt again and enjoy shades and smiles. get the numbers though, whatever you do - get the numbers.

Taffy

taffy,
good to hear from you so that is proof that i am still quite a dim wit.
but since i was contracted all hush hush by husaberg to be the lead on the new 2stroke division, i had to mingle, and sometimes even intermingle, with some other users and machines.
as a true mole, i had to present myself as an outsider, and i also had to present my self in the present with a present for the present work. glad to make that perfectly clear.
so yes, i was on a gas gas ec 300 on fr3. but it was only a trick of the light so to speak. i am a still a husaberg guy thru and thru. i still have the first husaberg that i was ever able to start. of course it was only that once but still...
i hope you are planning on attending fr4. i have some stuff from the past force rides that i will sell to assist your airfare, std meds, etc.[probably enough to get you 1/2 way from home to the airport in a taxi, maybe a penicllian shot or two]
some ask...are gas gas any good....my answer is 'of course not' ...keep riding the four strokes with knobbies. two strokes sounds like a premature explosion, which the four stroke doesnt have. almost exactly like the difference between trying to eat potato soup on a boat in rough seas vs. hitting a dead deer on a moped. yes, exactly like that.
anywho, i hope to see lots of riders, and their faces, new and old, at fr4.
sorry to not release any details of my two stroke berg but like the letter from husaberg explained....we will sue you...
