I just want to know who is going to bring the Motrin and Vicaden (sp) for those of us who arn't smart enough to ride with in our skill level? I know I will be sore and hurting...But as I tell the wife, Its the good kind of pain, she still dosen't understand..

hows the rider grading wrk in the US?

in the UK the Basic classes are; championship (david knight types)
expert
clubman
sportsman (beginners or anyone after an easy ride)

there are a few othe classes, but those are the basics around which the others are built.

cypher, there's not enough classes here. I keep getting pushed into the "Fricking Pathetic" category, and I constantly feel the pressure of riding over my head.

thanks,
json

For those who have not ridden Moab before, I thought I would add this. On any day, the route may include some wide open high speed stuff, including long stretches of sand. But many of the routes are like one long trials course, with some of the most entertaining obstacles you can imagine. There are expanses of red rock that seem to go on forever. I have ridden with groups of A riders, years ago, and still we often found ourseves stopping to take in the views. Spectacular, the only word for it. And if you are in a group with mixed rider ability, you will find that you may have time to go back and take obstacles several times, and riders always learn from one another. Retrying obstacles is a common thing, as there are often several routes up or down one. Everyone will be entertained and challenged, regardless of your ability! No worries!

We all have our place in the world, and while you may feel your are riding over your head, there is a place by the fire where you will without a doubt hold you own in the champiuoship class. I just ask for your sympathy with your storytelling, as I don't want to have a repeat of the last Moab ride.

what happend? Was there a lot beer coming out of peoples noses and due to rolling laughter and Bobs chilli some laughter induced incontinence?

not to be a fryguy groupie but i really enjoyed fryguys riding style and finess.
he made it look so ez. when the group tried to follow him though it was quite
comical. bikes all over the place, and off some cliffs. truely memoriable.
and how he lost it during jsons true life stories was too much. i'm grinning
ear to ear reliving now.
hope to see some of fryguys buddies there as well. they were cool and fun.
for a foreigner, he's ok.

tuts

Thanks tuts, looking forward to your humour as well. How is the big 650 these days?

Risky - no beer through the nose, should have been though had I not been coached by some true beer drinkers. Just ask jason about story about the hot chick and his VW, funny enough to make this line difucult to tiipe
