You are a great motivator.

Approximately two hrs northwest of Coutts or Rooseville border from Montana is the Crowsnest Pass. We can ride from 2500ft to legal tree line (6000ft) in 15 minutes. So you think your bike is jetted perfect?!?!?!?!

Please post any interest, the driving distance concerns me for most of you, but however, let me know and I can pursue more info.

August would be the best time as the WEC is in July and we won't be missing that.

Tell me your thoughts

Set a date and I am down!!!!!!!!!!! August is just great for me. Cabins, trailers or Hotels? The Northern Nevada wrecking crew will be there. Can't speak for the southern boys.
YYYYYAAAAAAHHHHOOOOO only 420 something days!!!!!!!!!!!

Brendan

From the riding area, we will be 2 hrs from Calgary. The nearest community is called the Crownest Pass along Highway #3. The community is made up of towns such as Blairmore and Coleman, old mining towns. Plenty O history and riding that is epic and scenery to behold. The community is striving to attract OHV users, atvs, snowmobiles etc.

They have lots of beer stores, although they won't have your good American beer, just your poor beer and our good beer. There are some kick *** restaurants and remember, the dollar difference is in your favour.

Once we get some idea of what people want, I can explore the accomodations. I know of a B&B that has cabins and hopefully let some of us camp as well. Its 10 min out of town and 5 from one of the staging areas. There is lots of hotels, motels and random camping areas, so no worries about getting stuff.

Bikes require spark arrestor, headlighta and taillight, and liscence and registration or your appropriate green sticker ( proof of ownership and insurance for public liability and public damage ) pinko commies I know Json, but its the LAW. We hate it too, but the LAW doesn't have much of a sense of humour, and they write fat tickets.

We would be 2 hrs from the US border either through Montana or Idaho.

I am soooo there . One lung had a DUI a while back. Will they let him in the country. Alos what can we kill at that time of year.
Freinds, Beer, Bikes, and Guns......It dont get any better!!!

well, bob, I guess you could shoot the pinko-commie bastage trying to write anyone in the group a ticket...

Just trying to be part of the think-tank here....

August of '06 is a super long ways away. Why not this year? As of this moment, I plan on going. I get to ride in a foreign country! This time, the Americans will invade Canada.

One Lung will get in , we let every one else in, but getting home might be fun.

yes next year is a long ways away, but Bobzilla has been throwing his weight around, and is encouraging me to do it. And this year is stacked already for me to plan it. Next year will allow anyone to plan it if they really want to, no working it into existing holiday plans.

We'll go beer hunting,eh bobzilla.

Json, you in for a pinko hunt?

A year from August is just about right. I can save some money and time, panic at least once a month about getting ready and have enough time to conn the little lady that I reall need a three week vacation without her. Thats right if I drive all the way there I am not going to just drive straight back, I am sure there are places along the way that need to be explored. I guess we can always kill a few moosehead's eh huh?

Fryguy,

Count me on the "2006 Force Ride - Canadian Style".

You mention that we will need "insurance" to ride. Does this mean that we will be riding on the streets/highways and by tail lights do you mean working brake light? In other words, Dual Sport.

Maybe Bobzilla, One-Lung, Brendan, myself and anyone else from California and Nevada can caravan up there together.

Look forward to taking the Husaberg to foreign soil and tearin' it up!

We just need more details on accommodations such as locations, prices and or web site addresses.

By the way, how much does gasoline sell for there right now? Just curious.

sounds like fun to me..... it's quite a while away but i'll go if possible.
i need to get an americian-to-canadian book so i can speak to the locals.
fyi---did you know that canada leads the world in being the closest northern country to usa?
does json have to ride with me from vegas????
tuts

Paul's in da hizzouse!

man, talk about beer, and look who comes runnin?

Sir, not only do you have to ride with me, but I'm going to forget to take my medicine accidentally-on-purpose. Oh, and I'm going to have a lot of caffeine in my system :D

good times,

i would be highly interested in coming to play in the great white north. that's pretty much of a long-*** drive (in technical terms), so it'd be worth taking a week or so of vacation. perhaps some of the nevada or arizona folks will have some interest in arranging a carpool. we have some time to worry about it anyway.

maybe by then i'll have my very own berg. are prices better up there?

So is this open to just about anyone or is it by invitation only? August of 06 is a ways away and I'm not sure what I will be doing then but I would not mind planing on a trip. I know my way around that area a bit and have spent a lot of time in Canada, I could translate eh?

hey! How'd he get in the secret room?

You have to know the secret handshake when you arrive, and you've got to answer a question concerning the velocity of a sparrow.

All members, and even their non-Husey friends are welcome. Even if you can't bring your Berg :)

thanks,
json

Of course that would depend on the size of the coconut.

If i come i will bring the shrubbery.... and possibly a herring.

Yeah, and Risky don't forget the holy hand grenade, may find some killer rabbits up there eh?

I will bring them, i will let Bobzilla do the deed since he wants to hunt something. what will all the bloody peasants think when we show up?

ya know it is a good thing that schwim got a noble steed, so he would not have to show up to these events just banging his coconuts together!

From what I hear Jason bangs his coconuts together,on the tank, handelbars, trees, etc.
