WOO HOO !!
I got the early release of the test that Dirt Rider has in the next issue, and I have to tell you, I'm STOKED !!!!
Jimmy Lewis took a 550 from us a few months ago, and literally tried to kill it. No go, Jimmy :)
They ended up loving the bike, and the article is awesome.
Sorry I cannot post the thing here, but all I have is a fax of a color magazine page.
The magazine comes out next week.
Cheers,

Brett Saunders

I'll be watching my mailbox for Dirtrider!

Sounds like more good news.

Seems like the magazines are waking up! :D :D

SideTrack, a popular trail riding magazine here in Australia, recently did a test on a FE650 with the presumption that it was a race-only bike and would be no good as an all-day trail bike. They ate their words big time, and ended up absolutely loving it.

Brett

Any chance that you can get Jedi or Weave scan the 550 test from an issue in Indy and have you link it for us?

Thanks in advance

I just finished reading the print version. The editors were definately pleased with the bike. I believe four different people raced and won there class on it bone stock. The way the talk about the power you would think that someone would have slipped them a 650 on accident? Sounds like they need to test a 650 to see what real power is about.

just got my dirt rider mag. and read the 550 test. can't believe they
finally wrote an honest test and didn'td knit-pick the hussy to death. finally!!! :D :D

Does the magazine have a online version ? or a URL from where i can order the magazine ?

TIA

I just finished and put down the Magazine. Jimmy's got to be our new best friend.
I totally agree with the reviews, as my 04 550 has held up very well. I just completed the "92 miles of mud" out here in Nevada. Aside from leaking fork seals, this thing still rocks. BTW- The damper's been ordered.
Thanks Jimmy!!

The March issue or Dirt Rider arrived today. What a complementary article to say the least.

"Versatile enough to ride anywhere, and too powerful the whole time".

"Built with added detail for durability"

"Simple to maintain, easy to work on"

"It was so fast and stable down the first high-speed straight that I immediately pulled away....."

""With a suspension setup that is race ready......."

and on and on and on.

Better get your new Berg fast before they are all gone. The word is out.

LOL, month-end sales goal :)

Yes, and I have a massive sales goal for this month too :)

By the way, we have several demo bikes for sale at greatly reduced prices:

2004 FS650e
2005 FS650c
2005 FC450
2005 FE550e

And the Dirt Rider 24hr bike, a 2005 FE450e

If anyone is interested in one of these, have your local dealer call or email me - [email protected]

Cheers, and thanks for the warm feelings !

and survey says!

How reduced is "greatly reduced"?

It's kinda like saying I have a big weenie. It's all perspective :)

Can you give us some prices?

thanks,

Dirtrider test

Hi, all...

Quite a change in the test opinions!! Really great to see such positive output from these guys, and, to top it all off, on page 149, a Full Page Husaberg ad, in glorious full Blue-and-Yellow COLOR!!!!!

Thankfully, that's a perspective that I am lacking.

Regarding the price of the bikes - it's really up to the dealer.
If you're interested in one of the bikes I listed, have them contact their local rep, or me directly, and I'll put them in touch with the right person.

Cheers,

Brett Saunders

March Dirt Rider Fe 550 test

I am pretty sure I am not blind, and I have been through the March issue several times... I have no FE 550 test or even a full page Husaberg ad in my magazine. Are they having a different content for Canadian issues. My magazine is a primedia production which is the same as the link in this thread.

It is awesome to finally see a magazine talk about a Husaberg. I have subscribed to Dirt Bike magazine for years. They havent mentioned a berg in 2 or 3 years. I ended my subscription and switched to Dirt Rider. At least they are willing to give the berg its due. After all those engineers at husky are the ones who started this four stroke craze that the japanese have horned in on.
