ya rick, thx for the cool desktop background.

Ditto that Rick, Glad you came away in one piece man!

How did the big H-berg do on the road? What gearing did you use? And what did you get MPG?

And and and what was the barometric wind pressure co-efficient of the front fender at 65 mph versus 67 mph?

Glad you're okay BOSS!
Awesome picture! When can I order the poster for my shop?

Try harder? You have produced the worlds greatest Husaberg get-off photo!
That's funny! Remember that when he sees the pic it brings memories of pain. So to him it's horrible. I've had my share of horribles that were fantastic in others sight. Like the time the dude ran up to me with a big smile on his face after I crashed at the track and said (Dude, you just slid about 10 feet!!) I replied that I just wanted to start my bike and go home.

i'd be willing to bet its not horrible to rick, just good fodder for bench racing for the rest of his days.... cut to the front porch of the racer's rest home and a decrepit BOSS telling the boys "that ain't nuthin, biotch. lemme show you the crash i had back in '08" :drinking:

Bergdude, my average mpg over the 1320 mi trip was 52!!

Average speed was 73mph,rpm was 4200 @ 73mph, gearing was 17/42!!

temp was between 90/ 106 the whole trip!! Hours on meter 19.5

Wow! Glad your okay Rick.

I have to ask though......High speed get off in the sand or being a passenger in my truck while doing laps on my grass track in Canada....which freaked you out more?

     8O

Rick
Glad you are alright and the bike made the trip with no drama.
Ive got to say you need to change your avatar now :D

What did the oil look like when you dumped it? In Salt Lake or Vegas? Do you think the added volume from the cooler helped and is a worth wile modification?

Again glad your ok , remember your getting older bud :p

Portland to Salt Lake City then to Vegas for a race. Now that's a road trip!

Does anyone know if he rode it home too?

He didn't ride it home as he was pretty sore from that get-off.
Cool of you to bring up this thread from the past. I had forgotten about that awesome picture.
