Or maybe they had two similar bikes that were closely set up the same. I say that because last time I was by there I recall seeing the bike in the ad with the green hubs. That was actually what caught my eye.

I can't say that this thread suprises me at all. "we ship anywhere" has been brought up before. So what you have to ask yourself after you saved a few hundred on the price of your bike even after shipping is "Who is going to fix it when it's broke?"
I don't think it makes a whole lot of sence to buy an exotic bike and have it shipped long distances when you have a dealer near by. The few hundred in bling isn't going to put a dent in a repair bill when or if it comes to that.
I've had bikes shipped to me but I live in the middle of nowhere so it doesn't really matter to me, but I still buy most of my stuff from Okanagan Motorsports because they are small, and they are always there on the other end of the phone or email when I need something, and I have also gotten my share of bling for free from them or at cost and not because they screwed anything up either. Just because when you support a local dealer, you develope a relationship with them that extends over time not just the few days it takes to close the sale.
If I were to add up the hours on the telephone trouble shooting issues I have had and X that by the shop rate I've more than made up the difference in price from the big wholesaler. The other side of the coin is the small dealers have been the backbone of Husaberg through the lean years and now are taking a backseat to the metro area dealers who are cashing in on the recent popularity of Husaberg. The only ones to blame here are the consumers because we want everything cheaper at any cost. Everyone has to make a living, and the dealers small and large are no different. I don't fly for free and I don't expect the sales man to work for charity.

Madtrapper i too bought my exotic bike from Okanagan motorsports,Brian was a incredable person to deal with.I bought a new 2005 FC550 in mid 2008 from him because of a referal from a fellow biker.I did buy parts from them until International came onto the scene.Like i said before i only get parts.I will do so until i get the screw over, only because i can drive for 20 min to get there. If i was wanting to get involved into the credit card life style i would continue to get stuff from Brian because of his service.and knowledge.is that fair No Is it right that the mega stores screw over the very ppl that make their month end NO.For me its strickly convienence,Im now doing the valve springs on my 550 did i get the parts from either...NO i went with someone on this site with a room full of knowledge from outside the continent of N America.I have refered Brian for other ppl to purchase bikes,On a addition to my last post the shock on PC susp. stuff is grey instead of the green one thats shown. The outer fork tubes are gold, with a blue coating on the inner fork tubes not black like the bike they are showing.I call it like i see it.......False advertising anyone can do the work and find out this stuff on there own.I nearly made the comments to a potential buyer have a good day...............Paul
