Hey Guys,

I have had some trouble getting hold of Steve to check on the dates but I think we can safely say it will be the Tuesday 25th March 08 - Friday 28th March 08. There was overwhelming response to having it after Easter. My thoughts were to use the Monday for travel, ride Tues,Wed,Thurs & see what happens on Friday. I think we should book Louee accom from Tues - Thurs nights & if individuals want to stay longer they can arrange to.

I have had 13 UHE members confirm their positions, 5 members who said "yes" if after Easter ( I've got to follow these guys up now ) & 13 guests coming with members. Total of about 30 riders.

Steve, Pids, Ozrider & myself are going down to Louee on 5-6th May '07 to check out other riding locations around Louee ( heaps of forrests etc..) & see how best to arrange the event. If anyone else would like to come just put it on a post.

Cheers,

Wal

PS: sorry aussiehussa, dont know what happened there but got you down as coming now

:D

Hi Wal
here is another Aussie you missed.
yes count me in for may. I am only 2.5 hrs away from louee so what ever date you guys organise is good for me.

if there is any thing i can do to help out please let me know.

it will be awsome to see that many Bergs in one place cant wait.

Cheers Husados

Dont quite know why you didnt get my pm's ??? That must mean that there's a few more that didnt receive them.

Once Moab has been & gone Schwin has said he will allocate a special forum just for the Aussie force ride so I will get that going. Got you down for May & the ride next year. The May ride might even wind up being the first force ride in Aus with the response I've received to it !

Steve seems to have dissapeared of the map ?? I'm going to go back through the posts as I'm sure he put his contacty numbers on one somewhere.

Keep it going fella's & tell you're mates. The more the merrier.

Cheers,

Wal

Hey Wal Steve did put his phone numbers on here they are on page three of this thread
Regards Pids

Hey wildman..

did you get my name down for Aussie force ride 1??

I didnt get a PM either...

Broke the news to Tara the other week, I reckon she thinks I'm joking......

Azza.

Needs some publicity, we only have maybe 30 - 35 out of 140 odd UHE Members.. come on guys pull it out, contact your nearest UHE neighbour, car pool, share costs, do what it takes.. Azza/

May recon ride

I forgot to say if you're interested in the may ride at Louee to check out the place dont forget to let me know. Not much accom left now apart from tent sites.

Come on Down Under Brothers ! Get on board with your Force Ride I'm sure it will be like ours way way too much fun. I promise it will not disappoint . It is sooooo cool to see so much blue, yellow, & black all at one place. And very worth it to see those KTM riders drooling over your machines

Our own topic !!

Hey guys,

big thanks to schwim for setting up the Aussie UHE ride topic.

By now everyone would have read through all the posts from the Force ride at Moab ( if you haven't your missing out ) & seen all the photo's of the event. I hope this has stirred a few more of you on to getting yourselves organised for our ride next year.

Take photo's of you favourite place to ride & start posting them here so when we are at Louee next year, we can debate about where the next one will be held. Put all your posts & pictures into the Aussie force ride topic so they are easier for all members to find.

Dont forget, tell your mates & dealers that you're thinking of going & if they would be interested. Enthusiasm breeds interest :)

Cheers,

Wal

RE: Our own topic !!

Hi Wal,
It seems I have picked a great time to buy a Berg and join UHE, with the Aussie Force ride to Louee and all. May I offer my assisance with the recon ride on the 5th/6th of May and the Force ride next year. I am a member of the Bathurst DSMRA and I lead one of our rides from Bathurst out through some awesome Forestry fire trails at Sunny Corner and some National Parks trails and just happen to go through Lue to end up at Mudgee !!!!

The village near the bike park is spelt "Lue" but the bike park is spelt "Louee". I guess it makes it easier to pronounce.I could take you on that recon ride from Bathurst and we would end up at Louee. Being Public roads through the State Forests and National Park you need to have registered bikes. All our riding around here with the DSMRA is on registered bikes unless we go to one of the Bike parks like Louee. One of my friends actualy works at Louee bike park but I have not riden there yet. Many of the guys here have riden there and depending on when the maintenance has been done on the tracks is relative to how rough it can be. Most of the comments I have heard from Louee are great. I think the amount of options of tracks and trails and the facilities on site would make it hard to beat.
Anyway the offer is there and i am happy to help where possible.
Cheers
Garry.

Hi cafey18,

Being a DSMRA member myself, riding occasionaly/mostly with the ACT mob I knew I could get someone via the DSMRA out of Bathurst to assist with ride planning. Say g'day to Wayne for me when you see him next.

It'll be great to see you on 5/6 May with Wal and the rest of the UHE and friends who can make it. We'll be able to compare notes on oil among other important aspects of amber liquids.

Nothing much to arrange, just contact Louee and sort it with them. Most of us are staying in the shear's quarters Friday and Sat nights.

See you then,
Steve

you're welcome and if you need somewhere to put your head down you know where to come. what's it all about? work? family? pick up the ashes!

regards

Taffy

Hi Steve,
Yes we can compare the viscosity impact of blending Delo400 with carbonated amber liquids. Sounds great, I'm looking forward to the ride in May. I think a few of the DSMRA boys from here would love to come along, but I'm not sure if those Blue bikes and Orange bikes will be able to keep up with us on the Bergs !!!! Ha ha, I guess we will just have to put up with them. Anyway it's a converting process hey, they will see the error in their ways and come to the Blue/Yellow and black side eventualy. There are e few Bergs lurking in the crew already, so the numbers are growing.
Cheers
Garry.

Hey Guys,
Remember the Condo 750 is on at Easter time each year. Imagine a massed Husaberg arrival into the Condo showground, awesome. Just a thought !!! I know some guys go to that event every year. It's a shame Condo is so far from Louee.
Garry.

Hey cafey18,

we dont mind having a few blue & orange roost magnets on the trip, makes for a better laugh at the end of the day. It's as much about product awareness as it is about what you ride. As long as everyone is having a fat time & enjoys talking $hit about bikes thats all that seems to matter.

Glad to hear you are planing to be on the May ride. Bring as many mates as you can, we can cover more ground with more people. You may want to sort out accom asap as there was only 1 shearers quarters room left when I booked. As you said, Lue is only down the road but it'd be better if we were all at the same location. I cant imagine too many taxi's are in Lue & if the amber fluid must flow freely & into the night, nobody wants to have to drive anywhere.

Keep in touch though & advise how many you intend to bring. I have organised a huge Husaberg banner to put up for the May ride & get heaps of photo's to generate interest.

Cheers,

Wal

Ha ha, I don't think I will call the boys "roost magnets" until I have proved it on a ride. They are a good lot down here and give as good as they take, top blokes. I have spoken to our local fearless DSMRA leader and we will organise a ride from Bathurst over to Louee in May. I will let you know on numbers after our April meeting. Don't have to worry about accommodation, we will put up tents if we have to, just so we can all stay at Louee, have a few beers and help the blue and orange boys clean the roost off their bikes.
We shall no doubt talk plenty before May. One of the boys is getting a Sherco, so that will be interesting to check out. Might even reduce my standards temporarily to have a ride on it !!!!
Cheers
Garry. :D
