I am looking for someone to make a custom bar riser for my 2001.

I am looking for someone who can make a very simple part made of steel, less than 8-inch long, with holes for the bolt on each side, and about 20mm thick.

Some machining involved, not much!

These are the type of bar clamps:

Can't find the right riser anywhere.

Thanks for the help!

i have about 1 job per fortnight for my engineer nick. i nearly live there! get a young apprentice who wants some dinner time cash?

regards

Taffy

Thanks, I am even thinking about using the ones I have, after all they should work...

Froggie,

Rocky Mountain sells spacers. Ktm sells spacers and taller mounts (hard parts), and I have seen various bike dealers with them on their shelves. You should be able to get what you want or need "off the shelf' as opposed to a custom maching job.

They cost over $50. I already bought the KTM spacers, they don't fit.

Taffy got his done and they look awesome. I want some like that ;)

Taffy's bar risers/spacers

Nic, I'll make you a set like Taffy's for free and yes, out of aluminum!
How tall do you want them?

Well, "beastie" of course...

Really, I will let you know what height I need :)

You need to let me pay for the shipping, at least!

That's nice of you, I'll owe you a beer.

Well, Logjump is a man of his word!

Barely 3 business days after his nice proposal, I received not one, but two sets of risers made by Mr Log himself!

Follow this link for the install procedure.

Look Ma, short link!!!

Below are the said risers:
