Do the Seal Savers require the zip ties? I've never used them before & had the shop install them when they replaced the fork seals. I was looking at the Seal Saver website & it mentions using zip ties to secure them. The shop didn't install any, are they required, or do some not use them or???

hello again i have recently replaced the seals located in the clutch cover, i had oil coming out of the small hole at the front of the cover. i had a few small rides, all was ok. so this morning i went out for 2 hours and on return i had oil coming out of the hole again. any advice ???

02 FX470E: Can the seal be remove from the housing. With out clutch cover being removed from the engine it self? Also has anyone experment with a double lipped seal?

hi; on my 02 fe650e the weep hole leaks lots of antifreeze. in the downloaded parts manual it shows a ' Seal Ring Kick Shaft 10x18x4x4,8' i'm assuming that this is the worn part. am i correct? can this be gotten locally or does it have to come thru husaberg? thanks in advance. tuts
