I have a chronic 08 countershaft seal leak, changed it twice. My front sprocket wobbles it seems not to be wide enough to hold the o-ring flush inside the spacer.. whats the deal . Is the front sprocket suppose to be a tight fit or what.. Anyone elses 08 loose/ leaky ??? bought the bike...

Why does the left main bearing have a bearing seal? The entire engine is in the same oil bath so what function does this seal have? Same for the reed valve, all the mechanical parts use the same oil so why the reed valve? Just wondering.

Hi all! The one on the left side of the crankshaft seal ring I saw that there are a little bores. (this is pierced industrial) Is this made in this manner at everybody? Why is this solved in this manner? :dontknow:

Dellorto gurus ! When trying to set my mixture and idle screws, the smoothest running is with the mixture screw all the way in. I notice the little washer and rubber is missing and wondered if that could be the reason. Please advise Regards Ady

is their suposed to be an oring on the stator cover.if so this could afect the alighnment on the stator should i add the washers to the back of the staor to take up the gap?

I guess that if you have coolant leaking out of the little hole at the WP, it needs a new WP seal? Looking at the repair manual, there is also an o-ring further in on the WP shaft that I would guess seals from the oil side, and keeps AF from getting in the oil. Is that right? Next question...

Must you still purchase the impellar shaft bearing in order to obtain the impeller shaft seal P.N. 0625 062013? Is there a cross reference P.N. for the seal only? Thanks, Eric
