Want to buy or borrow Fe501 sem cdi coil ignition black box that fits a 1999 if you have one lying around or will let me borrow yours i will compensate you for it thanks. i really need one i am at my wits end with this no spark problem. :angry:

Looking to see if someone can have a look at the back of their key barrel and tell me what numbers relate to what color wires. There are 1,2,3,4 on the back off ignition barrel stamped into the plastic and the wires that conect to it are 1x brown ,1x yellow with black stripe 2 x soild yellows...

Hi guys, has anyone ever experienced this? When I take the key out of the ignition, it pulls the barrel "innards" out with it?? Most puzzling?? (perhaps an additional security feature...) Cheers Crispin

i have a 97 Fe400 i keep having probs with the spark plug caps they work for a bout a month then the bike acts like its running rich on fuel if i change the cap the prob goes away for a while any info would be helpful thnks

is there a better ignition system i can upgrade to because this brass pin and no spark cap doesnt seem very efficient to me and i think that poor connection may be an issue for me

How does one access the additional mapped curves in the new bikes?

hi all got my old 92 fe 350 back the stator bolts came loose and the bike quit running i was able to repair the wires i think i got them good enough. But how do you set the timing. I see marks on the stator but won't be able to see them once the flywheel is on.

There are two marks on my flywheel one on the left and one to the right, what do these line up with when you are at TDC.I cannot find a mark on the flywheel cover, is there a mark somewhere else.

Hi Guys Does anyone know what the timing advance should be at idle speed ? The doc says the total advance should be about 36° @ 6000rpm but that's kinda hard to check in your garage.
